Here's my attempt at translating the spoilers with my limited understanding of Japanese:

Spoiler for future episodes:

Ep 19 - Triangular
Ranka's Ai-kun went missing and she and Brera went to search for it. Brera takes the opportunity to ask Ranka "who are you singing for?" Ranka who was holding doubts about her singing becomes aware of her true feelings. Around that time, Alto went to visit Sheryl. There, Sheryl told him "I'm not going to sing songs anymore."

Ep 20 - Diamond Crevasse
At the Mihoshi Academy, Ranka was practicing for her concert when she, Sheryl, and Alto meet up. There, their feelings become complicated. At at moment, the Vajra began their attack. In these moments where one can die anytime, there are things that will confirm their feelings.

Ep 21 - Blue Esther
As the Vajra violence continues, loved ones will be lost and hatred will grow. Meanwhile, the new Mishima [sp?] president and chief of staff begins to make a big move. Ranka shoulders the sadness and hatred of the people refuses to be a singing tool. She makes a very important decision.

Ep 22 - Northern Cross
The people of Frontier are burning with hatred for the Vajra. Like the people of Frontier, Alto and Luke cannot control their self hatred and decided to use the new weapon. Meanwhile, Ozma who was digging into the Mishima conspiracy, began to realize the true colors of the enemy. On the other hand, Sheryl begins to sing with a different feeling from before. [Something about Alto here, but I don't know what he did to make her sing.]

I can see a NUNS vs SMS standoff. Mr. Bilrer will likely be a political prisoner if Grace and Galaxy Anonymous have their way.

Quite frankly Macross Galaxy's administration sucks.

President Glass may have not been the sharpest tool in the shed but he relatively kept everybody happy in Frontier with a heathy economy.

Nah, the line from that episode synopsis is:

Problem with this is too much kanji for most intermediate Japanese language students.

新統合政府大統領府首席補佐官である三島 roughly translates into:

New United Government Presidential Chief of Staff Mishima. It could also be translated as First Seat Advisor/Aide or some such, but Chief of Staff is the easiest for an English speaker to understand.

So no need to panic. The conspiracy is alive and kicking, but Mishma is still occupying the same job and there is no coup yet.

From the spoilers/synopsis, my guess is either Nanase or Mikhail is gonna bite the dust/get seriously injured, hate for it to be mikhail though but that would resolve the problem with him not being able to be with Klan :P

Well I doubt "Quarter" can take on a New Macross-class Battlecruiser or equivalent by itself. But that is what Battle 25 is for, right?

That or they seriously need backup from Macross 7's fleet.

Haha, I can see why you'd wanna kill her off. But it'll have to be someone close to both Alto and Luca, or someone in SMS. Mikail is too early because he needs more development with Klan. It can't just be blatant jealousy--we need more.

I wonder if Grace and Ranshe had a triangle going as well back in the day? The Jessica Blanc scandal from years ago apparently made a impression big enough for her to remember the details, and she showed real empathy when there was no real need to. I seriously doubt she had anything to do with that incident, not being on Frontier until recently, and the incident having nothing to do with the Vajra. Maybe the fatal love affair angle struck a chord with her own story.

There's the possibility that it's Klan that dies. Since quite a few people said Nanase, I'm going to change my guess to Kanaria.

I changed my guess to Kanaria. Kanaria has a child. What do you say to a child whose mom died in battle, but can only say it was an accident? I'm guessing that Alto and Luca were standing in front of her grave watching a child crying for his lost mother. That would also piss people off.

And Michael and Ozma would make Alto and Luca hate the Vajra so much more than they already do, how, exactly? They are not so not close to them to have that effect, IMO.

Nanase is dead weight, which nonetheless affects Luca and Altos dad dying would have Alto confront that he never made up with his old man ( for whom he still has affections, although of the confrontational sort ).

I think I am right on the money here. We´ll see in a month.
