(L+CR) Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends

Cygames' "Shingeki no Bahamut: Manaria Friends" will be getting an anime adaptation for 2016.

Plot Summary:

The TV anime will star Yōko Hikasa as Anne, the honor student princess, and Ayaka Fukuhara as Grea, a princess born from a dragon and a human. Both voice actresses are reprising their roles from the game. Mysteria Academy is a prestigious magic school that teaches magic without discrimination to the three factions (men, gods, demons), who usually are engaged in battle with each other. The anime will follow the two young women as students at the academy.

Grea is adorable. Same with Anne.

Yeah, this feels very different from the previous Shingeki no Bahamut shows. On the other hand, it still retains some of the fantasy elements so that's something. So far, I definitely got some laughs from the humorous moments.

I heard the show will be only 10 episodes though.

The best part of the episode was the end card picturing Favaro and Kaisar as the heroines of the show.

Based on the first episode, I'm not expecting much from this show, but maybe it will surprise us.

Based on the first two episodes, this has pretty much nothing to do with the previous Shingeki no Bahamut anime as far as I can tell, so you don't have to worry.

The best part of the episode was the omake at the end. Grea is so cute. And I approve her upgraded boobs and tail.

Finally, we get to see two of official main characters from CyGames' games, Rage of Bahamut.

The first anime is based on Rage of Bahamut's world view, but it did not include the game's main characters. The anime main characters were anime's original characters.

After the first anime, CyGames funded another Shingeki no Bahamut anime. The speculation is it is a yuri anime. The anime is based on the game's "Manaria Academy". CyGame demanded crispy animation and was willing to fund it, but the anime studio habitually used the cut corners production strategy. Some anime studio got itself bankrupt because its production cost exceeds its budget. CyGame found the outcome quality to be lackluster and decided to rest the project.

Since the second anime project was cancelled, the third project Virgin Soul became the second project.

Anne, why do you want Grea's shed skin? And I find hilarious how it took around four minutes for Anne to acknowledge Owen had come along with her. Thought it would be sort of a funny background skit at first. Oh, and long haired Grea is even hottern than normal, and nothing wrong with a growing tail, girl

Overall, I'm ok with cozy times betwen cute princess and hot dragon girl. A comfy, and sometimes sexy way to wrap up a week.

Reading this, at first I found it ironic how characters from the game got relegated like that, but then I figured it could've been a matter of simply not having the right tone for what Genesis was bringing to the table, and looking back on it, yeah, it was the right call.

It should be noted Grea isn't just any dragon girl, but the princess of the dragon tribe. That's double the charm point.

I wouldn't call it a charm point that both princesses to be acting like idiots. Really, the only thing the school had to do was to know in advance common illnesses for Dragonoids and how to treat them. A library was partially destroyed over a molting incident which is probably common for her species.

thought there was something serious disease going on. Grea was just growing..
Hopefully, there are no bad side effects on all the "cures" they used on her.
