While classmates getting into killing scenarios is pretty common on Narou, character depth and people actually caring about the dead ones isn't.

One of my complains with Class Transfer is usually MC starts at the lowest position (class' loser) then suddenly elevated to the highest (OP, among the strongest around)
Kinda wish that MC slowly gaining position in class and his faction increases in size (but not only harem)

Pretty much the only group he's met and left with no qualms is a heavy smoker delinquent guy and his 3 gyaru party.

You could actually say the MC is at the lowest position power-wise. He was also regarded as the 'otaku' clique in class, but no one ever brings it up so no one seems to care.
Has a very not-user-friendly class compared to everyone else and struggles to make it work pretty much every time.
Due to this he's more desperate, leading to more technically morally questionable methods, which isn't very pleasing to the people who have stronger abilities from the start and have more leeway in their decisions (AKA hero harem party).

It's hard to gain a position 'in the class' when a good chunk of them die every now and then and the biggest single group is like of 6 people.
He doesn't really have a faction aside from the predictably yandere heroine berserker and maybe a gyaru girl?
The current party he's with used to be the lackeys of the first classmate he killed, which he hasn't told them for obvious reasons, but otherwise they get along fine but aren't particularly close.
The cannibal literally wants to eat him and the homo couple robbed him blind.

Right, they haven't found any natives. Well, human natives.
They've encountered some sort of semi-intelligent troglodytes that seem to like some heroin drug as a race? Although they're always hostile.
The rules of the setting is only a group of 3 can leave the dungeon everyone is in. Well, it's a little more vague than that and there could be multiple exits...maybe. That's just theory, though.

The closest thing to a native the MC meets is his patron god...a skeleton! Yeah.
He is a good leader, though. Can't call him very charismatic, but his leadership is pretty solid.

Depending on how long the author intends for the series to go, it may extend outside the dungeon.
Or rather, it should, since it's not like leaving the dungeon = going home.
It's like clearly a series of trials to groom them for something or other.

Well, not like he can't make new ones. The current line-up just seems kinda not promising.
The heroine might do it for him, though. She is kinda yandere and crazy.

Berserker is stuck with the hero party.
Hero is giving her extra attention as she's the only one not swooning over him (well, is worried about her crying alone etc) and gave her his prevent-death-once amulet.
From there they got into a mega-boss-fight featuring 4 bosses and 1 BIG boss where she had to pull most the weight since no one in the hero party can do shit aside from her and the hero.
So she used Momokawa's modded heroin to power up/berserk and stabbed all the bosses one by one to death and passed out from the feedback, kinda lowering Momokawa's rep with the hero.
Which doesn't matter because if she didn't use it she'd be dead, since she was literally the only one in that fight who didn't get any support from anyone, including the healer who was supposed to be healing everyone.
Afterwards her knife evolved as a curse weapon ala Kuro no Maou style.

Since the four bosses mentioned above also appeared in Momokawa's side, except they only had to fight 1 and there was no big boss.
It also showed the difference in strategies they had, where Momokawa set fire to the trog village to distract most the forces while they invaded the fort, whereas the hero party just snuck through using their thief because attacking the village seemed pitiful. Like I said before, they have a lot of leeway in general so they can do these 'morally correct' "strategies". The sage girl was even tripping the whole way there and they luckily never got spotted.

Well, once you've killed one poisonous bishoujo, the next one is easier. For example, that samurai wannabe girl who tried to kill him. Last I remember she was still alive, though I've not read the raws in a while.

I've though that was quite likely for a long time. The difficulty of the boss mobs seem to scale with the strength of the party such that it's never easy to win. I dunno about the dungeon teleporting parties to appropriate strength places, but it seems quite possible.

Because she's a child and he didn't unconditionally pamper her like everyone else was.
That and she didn't like how he was "lying" to her, which was actually just hiding his true feelings of not liking her in order to form a workable relationship like an adult would.
He never actually told a lie to her, I think.

It's mostly the first one though.
When they fight a boss battle, she intentionally delays coming to help anyone (not that she ever does help, only shows up to reap the rewards) while the protag is 1-on-1ing a boss because the protag is 'mean to her'.
Note that he isn't mean to her, he just wants her to contribute ANYTHING instead of being a waste of resources so he makes her work for his cooking and bath.

There's also a chance she killed that baseball player that Momo-kyun got the cigarettes from.
His cause of death lines up with the damage the protag got from her Words of Denial when fighting her, as in bleeding from every orifice.

Well, my sympathy for the hero is finally going under after I reached 144. There's a limit to such bias towards ignoring a friends flaws. It honestly feels like he's setting himself to be a tragic hero or go berserk with his thirst for more power that he might endanger the rest of his harem party. The hero's harem party is like a large ship that has so many holes patched half-haphazardly.

Once this harem party faces a real threat (intelligent or cunning monsters) that can rival Souma Yuuto's cheat, then it's game over for them. If the hero is the one who is constantly killing mobs, then the rest of the party will be under-leveled and unskilled in many ways. Overall, an unbalanced party. Class Rep is probably the most admirable in that party, as she's not part of the Hero's harem because she likes Tendou deep down. So once Class rep leaves that party, they will have quite a bit of infighting.

Out of all the characters I hate Sakura Souma, Ayase Adelhind, and Takanashi the most. Sakura's too inflexible as like a typical template girl and emotional. Ayase is also too emotional and never grew up mentally to be a teen. Takanashi is a damsel in distress during combat. Also, some people theorize that she might be manipulating the hero's harem party and was intentionally trying to kill Koutarou by always using him a human shield. I am secretly rooting for the Cannibal to target this party at some point.

The smoker delinquent with three gyrau girls that sasuke706 mentioned are Ryuuichi Tendou with the "King" cheat, Randou the girl that gave MC her exotic panties, and the two unnamed girls. Tendou is pretty much doing all the work in this party clearing floors like a "King" protecting his subjects. I honestly don't see Tendou and Souma teaming up due to their different party structures and values, maybe temporarily.

@lexlexz both archer and shaman girl are new characters. I bet once the MC finds out about his starter skills as a shaman, he will be so envious that monsters would avoid him for an entire floor. Although, the MC's skillset as a shaman are much more deadly and versatile with his personality. But I hope the shaman girl lives, but the arc's name is lonely archer, so its kind of foreboding.

Furthermore, the Koutarou's attitude just reminds me of the MC from the manga called Onani Master Kurosawa.

I feel like REM can somewhat steal other people's cheats by simply possessing one of Koutarou's dead classmate's corpses to strengthen herself. And where the heck is Raptor?

My favorite parts of the series are Ruinhilde and Koutarou's face-to-face meetings.

Trivia: Koutarou is the 3rd or 4th popular male in the class haha. He's better looking than some girls that they feel vexed. He might have his own Hideyoshi fanclub in that school.

Don't know who all here still actively reads this but I felt like reviving the topic again with thoughts on recent events, as well as summarize some things for myself.

So the factions seem to have more or less solidified, Momo's brought yet another character to his death (and another indirectly that he isn't aware of) and this time actually feels some regret toward his decision of doing so.
The other guy he led to his death ended up being used a power-up for another character, sadly, leading to more pain the ass future events.
Still, this was actually probably a correct course of action because if they hadn't, they'd have to fight Yokomichi again on top of the gay couple likely causing trouble with them in the future as they view all the other parties as enemies, and if they chased after the Fire Mage after he fled it might've turned into a three-way chaotic brawl, with Yokomichi likely trying to focus on Momo after he's already been exhausted due to his previous fight.

I imagine the protagonist party will meet up with the King Party soon, where the King was facing a mountain-sized boss and had the other three retreat being the last we see of them.
So odds are he'll at least meet the three girls, if not the whole party after the King somehow managed to beat the basically a living mountain boss.

There's also still one character introduction left to do, and the author wrote in a meta comment that things are going to start getting wilder.

Yokomichi is also Pikachu apparently.
The implication being he found and ate a pikachu.

Mei also infected Momo's phone with the Sage upgrade so that they can call each other, but I can't help but wonder when the Hero Party will realize they can literally just call Mei.
Sage updates their damn phones for a reason despite them never being far enough apart to use this upgrade.

So with the gay couple dead, there's now 10 guys alive and 10 girls, out of the original 22 guys and 19 girls. And we haven't even met one guy yet, with a fairly fabulous kind of name at that.
Author's done a good job and keeping the deaths gender equal.

The factions so far being (Males in blue, females in purple):
Should also be noted that they were instructed that only three people can leave the dungeon, with some possible broad interpretation of that.

Protagonist party (2 +4 minions, can also summon additional zombies temporarily):
Momokawa (Witch Doctor)
Mei (Berserker, formerly Knight)
Also has a Knight Rem (golem), Arachne Zombie for carrying luggage and making silk things, a new special red raptor zombie for riding, and a spare humanoid crustacean Rem.
Should note that the protagonist is wearing a get-out-of-jail-free card in regards to dying (takes one death blow for him), and they recently finally found a potion they didn't need to use immediately. I thought Momokawa would be able to learn how to make it with his pharmacist skill but there's been no hints at that yet. Could also just be keeping it a secret from the readers. Also recently learned that his Crimson Fever spell removes (not prevents) magical buffs and debuffs alike.
Thanks to Momo's abilities it's noted that him and Mei eat more healthily and fully, but this never seems to make any sort of difference as everyone else always seems perfectly healthy too, despite the poorer diets.
On good terms with the King and Delta parties, really bad terms with Hero Party and Yokomichi. Probably wary of Succubus party as dead healer informed Momo about her.

Currently has skulls/abilities for: A summoner, another Witch Doctor, an archer, and now likely a Heavy Warrior.
Yes he's gotten into the collecting skulls hobby, which allows him to use skills from the job of the dead guy, as well as make them grow, and hinted to likely grow depending on how Momo uses them so not necessarily the same as when they were alive.
The Hero, King, and Yokomichi also have similar somewhat easy to obtain skills abilities of their own. Momo's, of course, being the hardest to make use of being limited to human skulls. Or at least he hasn't tried any monster skulls.

Note that all of them save for Yuuto also have a die-for-free item. I personally think this is some foreshadowing for Yuuto attacking Momokawa (dying aside, bullshit hero power and all) and Momo's damage return skill hurting/killing Yuuto while his scapegoat item immediately heals him, since we learned from the heavy warrior that it doesn't block lethal damage, it just heals it super fast very shortly after taking it.
On bad terms with Yokomichi, Momo and Delta parties.

Sakura's holy woman job also seems to be a complete upgrade compared to the basic healer job. Her healing abilities might be slightly worse, but she makes up for it by having attack abilities and a strong automatic barrier ability but only affects herself.

Asuna has a trauma toward Mei, and Ryouko seems to have more of a crush on the King than the Hero, so she's like the odd-man out in this harem party.

Yamada may not have boned Airi, don't really remember. The three others definitely did, though. This party is noted for being particularly nothing notable, struggling with mob battles and whatnot.

Airi (Succubus, formerly Healer)
Haruma (Magic Swordsman)
Should note that Airi, unlike her fellow job-changed students, hasn't really showed much in the way of impressiveness after he change. Her magical charm was easily outdone by Reina's natural charm, for instance, and while one of her abilities hints that she gets things from succing off guys, she never fights and is always hiding or running away.
Good terms with Delta Force. Probably. Airi is likely mad at the Delta Force for going with Reina for a while, but she's also extremely desperate in general and would likely welcome them back readily if they wanted to join-up again.

Solos:
Yokomichi (Cannibal, formerly Warrior)
Has an obsession with Momokawa after tasting his blood, and has eaten a low-level ice mage and a top-mid-tier fire mage, gaining their abilities along with many monster ones.
Also wants to get revenge on Ryuuichi, who beat him up but spared him because he was hoping for a more interesting rematch.
Pretty much hates everyone save for Momokawa, who it's hard to tell if he wants to eat, or to waifu him...

Relight (Elementalist).
This character has yet to appear or be mentioned by anyone in spite of his flowery name, but going by how there's typically at least two of every class, save for some special ones, he's likely also a Geomancer. That or the guy that was (probably) killed by Reina on a tantrum before he could gain a job was supposed to be a geomancer.
There is, of course, a chance that there is no second geomancer and since he's solo and all, could have one of the unique jobs. Although it's been shown that even the basic jobs vary greatly depending on the user and he could very well be soloing as a Geomancer.
Could also just have died offscreen but we basically have everyone else's backstories at this point, so it's unlikely.
Edit: Not unknown anymore. Shares same class as Reina, but his seems nerfed comparatively to her. His beginning is him unable to communicate with any spirits/elements and instead talking with a random bear-rabbit monster.

『薬効聖水』：過酷な砂漠の旅路を行く中で、下川が習得した水属性治癒魔法。元々はリポーションを作ろうと していたが、あまりにも材料不足のため、少ない素材でできる限り治癒力のある回復薬を作ろうと四苦八苦して いる中、もう自分の水だけで回復できるようになったことに気づき、見事に治癒魔法として完成した。その治癒 力は学園塔で作ったリポーションと同等。ポーションには即効性と治癒力には劣るものの、あらゆる傷に効く万 能な効果を誇る。
