Angelica dangled the idea of the Redgrave Heir being the next king, but due to the kingdom's history, I think it would be more appropriate if Olivia (not Angelica) became the next Queen and her child became the next ruler. Her ancestor the Saint was betrayed by the current Aristocracy's fore-bearers, making the outcome much more poetic.

After reading the volume, Leon decided to go to war against the Empire and Arcadia, I wonder if he ended up fighting Finn to the death? (what happened to the latter and Mia in the WN?), Angelica, Olivia and Noelle doing everything they can to help the protagonist, Julius and company finally defeated Leon (or rather convinced him to accept their help). and the Hundreds of AI (including Facto) decided to obey Leon (at least temporarily) to defeat Arcadia and revive the old ones Humans, although it seems that Luxon won't allow Leon to be treated as a disposable pawn for his goal, and at least it is confirmed that Luxon is indeed loyal to Leon (at least in this timeline). The volume was quite good, we will have to wait for the next one to see what happens.

In the web novel, he doesn't marry Mylene. If this carries over, she will no longer be a queen once Leon is king. My question is, whose children will be first in line?

In "How A Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom" the protagonist's brides were sorted into Primary Queens (those of noble birth) and Secondary Queens (those of common ancestry). The latter group's children were not counted for the line of succession. The children of Primary Queens were up for succession based on age.

If I remember right, the king divorced her and gave her to Leon to support his ascension to the throne. Clearly Leon wouldn’t object to this. The throne maybe but not her

Spoiler for Finn:

Finn is one of the last boss even if he doesn't want, even Brave admit he doesn't want too.
Finn died in the end, leave Mia alone to survive.
the Human manage to find a way to prolong new human life after the end of war so it not all that bad.

but all the people who loss in the "war for survival" is really tragic.

AI. who got destroyed by Arcadia also survived as a small sphere and live under Leon,
Fact even become babysitter for Leon kid.

Probably because the Main Story Light Novel is at it's Climax (it should be over in 1-2 Volumes).

That's why we are probably going to get more Marie Route LN releases than Main Story, atleast for a year or two, depending on how long the Author & Publisher want to stretch the release of the remaining Main Story LN Volume(s).

Events go so sideways that Leon dies by Ideal and Luxion decides to just go into permanent sleep mode, leaving Marie alone to pray for a re-do and it starts the main series instead, effectively making it a stealth prequel.

I would have honestly accepted that Leon died at the end since the Marie Route has always been darker. If anything, I would have loved if he confessed he knew that she was his sister in his previous life and he still fell in love with her, since despite the taboo of it he was happy with her. And with all the overpowered AIs and evil Saints gone, the world would have had a genuine chance at improving.

But a do-over that basically makes it a prequel to the Main Route just invalidates it and even the bad parts of the main series are made justified because the author effectively said that anything he did before wasn't as good as what he did in the main series. Even the parts where he was being proactive.

I'd take a bittersweet ending over that any day of the week.
