I think the length is fine. Maybe we could have had one or two more volumes of fluff but I'd rather have the series as it is than have some forced drama or having to wait ten volumes until the protagonists get together.

LN has ended, translator said he will try finish the series next month.

Author has another series (Choppiri Toshiue demo Kanojo ni shite kuremasuka?) that’s also about older woman and younger man in a relationship. I had been reading the manga adaptation, but didn’t realize before it’s from the same author. The LN is licensed but I haven’t read it. I also just realized the author wrote Inou Battle.

Is that series over? It was never officially stated to have ended but there hadn’t been a new volume in the past 2 years.

To my knowledge it's not concluded but yeah, I haven't heard anything about new volumes. I can only keep my fingers crossed.
