So two days ago, YouTube stars Tobuscus aka Toby Turner and Seth from Seth Blogs went to meet up some fans in London. However, what the two didn't expect was the huge crowd waiting for them... and a riot.

By the time the police arrive to stop it ,Toby and a little girl got injured from climbing the fence.
I hope fans won't act like this in the future. It was a good thing nobody was seriously injured.

Here's hoping for good recovery for Toby.

I knew the people from the British Commonwealth are crazy. Canadians and their hockey and maple syrup, and Londoners and their fans.

What is next? Australians attacking the zoos and setting free the animals, because the government passed a new law on animal abuse resulting in not being able to ride kangaroos to work?

Most of all, you have to be disciplined and you have to save, even if you hate our current financial system. Because if you don't save, then you're guaranteed to end up with nothing.

A subsection of us Canadians also riot when our team loses in hockey. The rest of us shake our heads and go back into our igloos.

Moose: "Now, turn around, nothing to see here."

I'm not very sure if the following news has already been reported or not at these forums, so I'm posting it.

Basically, as I was googling through the Yahoo search engine I came up with an interesting article.

A 19-year-old Ukranian girl, Anastasya Shpagina, is making quite the topic of conversation amongst the internet fandom.

The craze is due that the young lady actually uses make-up and contact lenses to physically transform her face into that of an anime girl, and I'm not kidding.

At Google, I found lots of images of her with the make-up.
Spoiler:

This seems to be a tiny fad in the "former Soviet Union" (anime or living dolls) ... I've run across nearly a half-dozen girls who do this and are either in Russia or the Ukraine.

Its "academically interesting" but looks a little weird. However, this young lady has an interesting makeup technique.

She's, actually, considering taking a surgery to make her eyes bigger.

That or it might have been wishful thinking from her part.

Hang around cosplayers and you will get used to them. Though you can never get used to the criminal ones though.

I'm not particularly afraid of porcelain dolls, but I draw the line at them being life-size and moving around...

I can haz productivity? Why you should look at cute animals at work
Quote:
Tokyo (Sept 27): Here's a defence for when your boss catches you watching kitten videos on the job: New research shows that looking at images of cute animals may actually improve your work performance, inspiring more fine-tuned attention and careful behaviour.

Seeing baby faces is known to trigger care-giving impulses in humans, and some research has even suggested that cute images may encourage friendliness.

In the new study out of Hiroshima University, published online this week in the journal PLoS ONE, researchers show that these impulses can transfer outside of baby care and social situations to tasks that require narrow focus and concentration.

"Kawaii things not only make us happier, but also affect our behaviour," wrote the researchers led by cognitive psychologist Hiroshi Nittono. "This study shows that viewing cute things improves subsequent performance in tasks that require behavioural carefulness, possibly by narrowing the breadth of attentional focus."

They said these effects could benefit drivers and office workers — as if you needed another reason to keep that pandacam tab open on your browser.
