To be honest this ending felt like anime original conclusion slapped on story, even though it has no original work to mess up

Good characters, but they were brought down by a boring plot. Can we get a better writer, please? Sunrise, you fixed Gundam Build Divers in its 2nd season and turned it into gold with a better writer. Surely you can do it again.

anyone else found it funny he was laughing at sesshomaru a few episodes ago for caring for his daughters then the guy simps hard for his sister....bloody hypocrite

episode 1:

finally got to start this show. So nostalgic to see Inuyasha, Kagome, and everyone again. Sesshomaru still arrogant, but he's a good guy now.

Root Head is terrifying, beheading people and using the heads. Why the heck did Kikyou choose not to finish this guy off when she had the chance? Anyway, the demon looking for the Shikon jewel really made me nostalgic.. it's like the good times again watching Inuyasha on tv on weekday afternoons!

well, but now we start a new story... looking forward to the adventures of their daughters.

Nice and fast 7 minute recap that went straight into an eyecatch, lol.
At least things happened to resolve the cliffhanger. I'm expecting this season to be about the same level as the first.

Nice first episode, but it's really shame everyone but Moroha got clue how to power up. From how it is set it seems she will get her own chance later, but I ever since 1st season I get impression she's meant to get short end of stick anyway despite being best girl.

Also if there is manga adaptation, why it's not done by Rumiko Takahashi herself ?

Ohh, that is cool. Zettai Karen Childen just ended, after all. I was kinda wondering what he would do next after spending soooo many years on Zettai Karen Children.

The thorough recap was unnecessary to kick start the second season.

While the first episode of Yashahime did a good job at weaving together the epilogue to InuYasha with the beginning of this new series, the build-up and pay-off to Yashahime as a whole series not only disappointed me but made me exasperated with the ludicrous power-ups and moves that either Towa or Setsuna were able to achieve effortlessly, and the start of season 2 wasn't an exception.

The only reason I'm continuing to follow this dumpster fire is due that Sesshomaru is given bigger exposition in spite of his limited role in Yashahime. As well as hoping that Setsuna's arc and growth as a character will pay-off in good manner.

Spoiler:

Boring, but I'm hoping for another memory or flashback episode involving more of Sesshomaru and Rin; keeping my fingers crossed.

Wonder what Sesshoumaru's intentions are with the daughters, some sort of training along their journey and forging weapons to ultimately face off against Kirinmaru again?

Spoiler: So the gist for the next 12 episodes or so will be the girls obtaining ingredients for Totosai to fashion a demon blade suitable enough for Towa to do battle once more against Kirinmaru. Boring, but I'm hoping for another memory or flashback episode involving more of Sesshomaru and Rin; keeping my fingers crossed.
