Just one comment, if Shigaraki gets her quirk, we would have officially entered the "villiain is too op" territory and there are only two options, either an ass pull *coff* Yoshikage Kira *coff* or this is going to end like a MMORPG boss raid where each and every hero will have to attack him at once to barely defeat him. Because Shigaraki already has superstrength, so it would be twice as powerful without even thinking about synergy with other quirks.

I'm not sure it would change much. He can already kill anyone he touches, and as for other uses, he's got an unspecified number of other quirks allowing him to do whatever the plot requires at any one time.

The story, through AFO, tells us otherwise though. He believes he'll have won the war if he manages to get his hand on her Quirk.

He should, theoretically, still have the 5 quirk limit.

If he gets S&S's quirk that limit is gone as one of the two "rules" he can impose.

The force of last chapter's explosion sends Star and Stripe flying backward! However, what really concerns her now is Shigaraki, whose hair suddenly grew longer. As for the villain himself, he now gained a better understanding of the New Order quirk. As powerful as Star may be, her quirk still has its limits. For instance, her self-imposed super strength rule should have made her capable of killing him in a single blow if it truly had no limits. Likewise, she should have been capable of creating a rule such as instantly killing any enemies who touch the air in a certain area, yet she didn't. Lastly, the name-calling condition is a flaw as well, since she assumed she was fighting Shigaraki.... but now she's dealing with a being who's neither Shigaraki, AFO, or even Shimura Tenko.

As the villain is busy analyzing Star's quirk, one of the pilots ask her what the next course of action is, since none of their attacks are working. She tells them to send a message to someone named Commander Aghbar, noting that Shigaraki's not just a threat to Japan, but the whole world..... thus, he needs to die NOW. She then imposes her next order: The atmosphere shall solidify into a shape 100 times her size! And indeed, the air around her does transform into a gigantic version of herself! Though Shigaraki can't see the towering aura, he can definitely feel its effects.... as the giant Star unleashes her Fist Bump to the Earth, sending the villain flying! She knows that won't be enough to finish him off though, so she has the pilots fire all their beams at once, then combines them with her quirk to make a concentrated super laser! However, she's also aware that even an attack of THAT level won't be enough to destroy the villain, otherwise Endeavor would have finished him off with a similar type of attack during the war!

Suddenly, Star receives a call from Commander Aghbar, who reprimands her for her recklessness, warning her that her actions could result in a penalty far worse than losing her hero license! She's not concerned about this though, and merely asks the commander if the preparations are ready. The commander answers yes, and that "they" will arrive at any moment. The commander then softens up on her a bit, noting her reckless nature is what makes her and her country shine. As Star (whose real name is revealed to be Kathy) and Shigaraki stare each other down, the commander says the time has come for her to take down a villain even All Might couldn't topple! It's at this moment that a cluster of missiles, named the Hypersonic Intercontinental Missile: Tiamat, make their way to the battlefield....!!!!!

Goodness, quite a bit to take from this chapter! So, it looks like I was pretty spot-on with my theory about Star's quirk having limitations on her "rules". It's pretty darned awesome that she could make her own stand, though!

And hey, inow we have a legally safe knockoff of a certain Star Wars character (Horikoshi is known to be a fan of the series, after all)!

And finally, it looks like Star has resorted to using nukes to take down Shigaraki.... though I think it's pretty clear these won't work, either. I'm still crossing my fingers that she doesn't die and/or get her quirk stolen, though that pretty much does seem the direction the story is taking.....

I say he's already too strong. The amount of punishment he can take is ridiculous, and if he wasn't trying to steal Star's Quirk, the battle would probably be over already. And there's two of him to boot, though the original AFO is weaker.

Galaxian Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013	Spoiler for 331: Whenever the story focus on Shigaraki, my interest in it just plummets. I really wish Stars wasn't wasting her time in a fight we know she is not going to win, or at least no accomplish her mission of taking down Shiga. I would have rather seen her interact with others like All Might, Deku, or Endeavor.

marvelB Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2005	Here we go: Spoiler for 332: Chapter begins with a brief flashback of Star during her training days (seems she trained at a boot camp/military academy-type place). Here, it's noted that despite her quirk's power, she can't raise her physical strength past a certain point, as Shigaraki guessed last chapter. Back in the present, Star says she'll use her power on the missiles, which means she'll have to relinquish the "rule" she placed on the lasers last chapter. Shigaraki/AFO also realizes that the USA's #1 has another plan in mind, and decides to take a gamble in a countermeasure..... Star finally releases the laser, and instead grabs the missiles, placing a "rotation" rule on them! Shigaraki flies out of the ocean, but the pilots immediately fire their beams at him, pinning him in place again! After a full rotation, Star ignites the missiles, triggering an explosion so massive that Endeavor and the other top heroes can see it from far away! Even Star and the pilots are pushed back by the explosion's force....!!! However, after the dust clears, who should come leaping out of the ocean, but.... Shigaraki! What's more, his flesh is gone! We then discover that, utilizing a greater degree of control over his decay quirk, he opened a hole in the ocean floor to escape the missiles! What Star actually hit was the flying Noumu, which was used as a decoy! The pilots try to back up Star, but it's too late: Shigaraki leaps straight in front of her, and grabs her face....!!!!!
