With a plethora of dating sim coversions coming out these days - it's tough to distinguish the girls from one another. So, how do you pick the girl to root for?

Maybe it's just me, but it looks like you have a decent shot if you go with the redhead. A sampling:

To Heart - Akari Kamagishi
Best dating sim female of all time. Patient, kind, caring, trusting, sweet, and encouraging. She'll put a smile on your face when you're down and will give you the push forward when you need it.

To Heart 2 - Tamaki Kousaka
One of the more entertaining people you'll come across - she certainly doesn't beat around the bush. Has that bossy, get-it-done personality, yet can be tender and refined when the situation calls for it.

SHUFFLE! - Lisianthus (Sia)
This ever-cheerful, energetic girl never fails to put a smile on your face - taking delight in even mundane things like shopping and walking in the rain. A straight Sia path may have made for a better anime (instead of the SHUFFLED! path)

Kimi ga Nozomu Eien - Akane
Not sure what Bakayuki saw in Mitsuki or Haruka. Akane made a much greater impression from the start, as the supportive yet sometimes mischievous sister of Haruka. Then again, maybe she was much too good for him.

D. C. Da Capo - Kotori Shirakawa
Not much more needs to be said. The ultimate anime goddess.

well, we all know redheads are definitely not like that in real life!
