The raws have been slow to come out. I couldn't find it until pretty late in the day when other shows have their raws available within one or two hours after airing. >>

I'm a bit annoyed that I couldn't find a better raw on 6 (bad zeroraws, bad), but the episode more than made up for it. Guess I'll write up my predictions.. see if you all agree. :P

So, Gntarl wasn't such a bad guy after all. I mean, yeah, he killed thousands of people during the episode, but all indications are that he really just wants what's best for the heavens, and doesn't really care how he gets it. Hopefully he'll stop getting in their way now.

The einstein-rosen bridge isn't closing any time soon; in fact, with it staying open permanently being a plot point, chances are Yumemi will eventually get to visit her friends. I hope they'll keep showing us what the heck the consequences of this are on Earth.. this time, the continents will stay visible, there's a.. something in the sky, and then there's the horribly ungeometrical effect on Yumemi's home. Seriously, that rock doesn't fit in that hole.

Question is, will they just stabilize it as it is, or will they seek to merge the worlds entirely? If the latter, things should get.. interesting. Oh, and is Akuto good for replacing oil?

Lastly, seeing Yumemi getting carried everywhere is kind of cute, but she's an incredibly soft target in this world; she can't even regenerate damage. Being a bit of a transhumanist, I hope they'll get around to fixing that eventually; this is way too much "damsel in distress". :P

Episode 7 looks to be a background episode that explains how this whole mess with the Akuto and the separated Heaven and Earth worlds came about. Interesting to see what it's all about once the subs come out.

Well, there's the explanation episode for ya'. I guess one good thing is that this thing has been so unexplained, this sudden explanation episode actually grabs your interest. On the other hand, they lined up everything in one very, very long explanation, which made me wonder whether I really got everything they were trying to tell me correct. Overall, it gives you the feeling you finally understand, yet leaves you going "Huh?". Soramiage quality, so it can't be helped.
So basically, Akuto=Mana, and they are trying to connect the two worlds ripped apart by lots of fighting and bad guys and such, huh.
Whether connecting is a good thing... Hmm...

That was the latter half.

The first half was... in various ways, just the usual Munto comedy of chaos.
We get Yumemi's power, which seems to basically be one big cheat/plot device to do anything.
We get Gasu, as cool as ever, dying a regretfully boring death. I mean, he just... died. No dramaticness or anything, just poof! What's more, he received a fatal blow because he just kept on talking and ignoring the enemy he held.
Then we have a sudden switch to after the battle, which temporarily stunned me when Yumemi appears with that... transparent "dress"... Eh...
Then we have the Pokemon fruit.
Then we have Yumemi's L-sit.
Then we get to watch the old men talk. As always, it's hilarious that all of them are named Chourou/Elder.
And the height difference between Yumemi and the others feels odd... I guess it's this new art style... Haa... Keeps on changing, this thing.

So anyways, a comedic first half and interesting second half. As expected of SoraMiage, if it isn't interesting story-wise, it makes up with it's unattempted comedy!

Preview: Oh! Good~, I was worried I would never see Ichiko and Suzume again!

A very dialogue heavy episode that explains the background behind the Akuto crisis and the history between Heaven and Earth. The animation quality also went down, but that's to be expected since we can't have an epic battles every episode and the anime is not running on an OVA budget. Definitely gonna have to wait for the subs to understand this one. Though the next episode preview looks promising though.

Yumemi might be meeting up with her friends again since it shows her getting help from Ryueli to see what they are doing. Also Gntral seems to be taking action towards something as well as it looks like he'll be confronting Munto again.

I really didn't see a drop in the animation quality. In fact, we were treated with Yumemi's new dress and Munto's new design in ep. 7. The guy's really handsome now. If anything, the physics of that dress and her hair should indicate that the animation quality did not go down in this episode imo. The flashback scene is also another good example.

Yuck, who wants to see those 2 girls in ep. 8. I'm more hoping for Yumemi x Munto kiss. You'd think that Munto could have found a longer dress for her to wear that is less likely to show her legs. Come on, it's windy up there.

When I say animation quality I meant the depth of the detail we see. The animation is still nice, but I meant specifically how different it looks now compared to the OVA. But I have to say, I really like Yumemi's dress. It's so...wispy, I guess is the word. XD;;

Yeah, I like that dress too even though it's so sheer. The way the edges flow in the wind is very nice. They timed the music well to the dress. The way that ribbon got animated is nice too.

Well yeah they dropped the detail down, but it's necessary if they want to keep the animation level up. Anyone expecting Munto 2 detail and animation was kidding themselves, especially with Clannad After Story airing at the same time.

I agree with you there - i am not exactly keen on the prospects of Ichiko and Suzume getting more screentime ... partially because i can't stand Ichiko's "whining" Iam going to pray to whatever demons i worship that those two don't somehow find their way to the heavens world. They should stay where they are. As for the kiss ...who knows, give it time - it might happen someday

I approve of Munto's dress choice though - Yumemi's new look isn't half bad indeed

No as much animation porn, but the animation is still KyoAni quality, everything flows in the wind. Facial expression is great as always.
Munto you're such a gentleman this episode, unlike the 'Ore-sama' from first episode. You chosen a nice dress for Yumemi too.

Preview : 'There's no toilet at the heavens, Ichiko, what should I do' <3

Definately looking forward to the subbed version, I can't understand what Munto's saying at the 2nd half of the episode. The first half was still okay.
