Aww... I actually wanted Mari Okada for this instead of those silly harem mecha, yuri, fanservice and fantasy-action series she's doing, since she's actually good in the slice of life/drama dept.

But Nagai as director is definitely win. Also an anime original. Will definitely check this out in the winter season

Wonder if it's because Nagai and Okada had some disagrements on AnoHana,new screenwriter is in my good books so that's not a problem.

Hakura Tomatsu in there as a lead female is always a plus.

If almost feels as if Mari Okada is the new Yamakan - the favorite punching bad for fans everywhere. I don't think it's justified, though Lord knows she pisses me off on a regular basis with her stupid self-indeulgence. Fact is, she's written some of the best anime of the last few years. That's what so maddening about her, I suppose.

Oh, I'm not particularly against Okada(though Fractale really did a number on me). I'm just interested in what this Yousuke Kuroda guy can do as I've yet to see any of his works, and for recent stuff its either this or Maken-Ki, which I'm not really interested in.

You should watch Infinite Ryvuis, it's easily the best juggling of a large cast I've seen in a two cour series. Though it might be worth watching Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins since it's the same writer and character designer.

lol no. Okada isn't here because the person who came up with the concept for this series is writing it. That person being Yousuke Kuroda who also wrote the Onegai Teacher and Onegai Twins which are other projects he did with the original character designer for this show.

I knew he was writing it,overlooked the fact that it's him the original creator,had a brainfart and thought it was Nagai .

He's also worked with Nagai on Honey and Clover.

Ah, now that's a lot more like Masayoshi Tanaka's style. I almost thought that the first promo image was going to be the anime's designs until I actually bothered reading the credits. I like Taraku Uon's originals better but I suppose JC would rather go for the ones which are a little easier to animate.

That PV is giving me strong Anohana vibes, though the character designs are much more inferior. That glasses guy (looks like he's the MC) looks a bit like Jintan.

Nice pv but I didn't get any anohana vibes on it but instead a toradora vibes but then again it's a group of friends and it looks like a romantic one based from the near end of the cm which looks like a confession? or something.

Tremendous staff list for this one, full of huge names. When was the last time JC Staff was behind an original series of this caliber?
