I personally want to see Ride as the antagonist. It'd make for a good, heartwrenching story.
The new Gjallarhorn as the good guys, lead by Julietta as its new Agnika Kaieru, against an old enemy that knows full well what dark secrets Gjallarhorn had and what lengths they might stoop to.

No thanks the only thing I want to see is Rustal and Julietta getting brutally murdered. Especially Juiletta...I can at least have grudging respect for Rustal but Julietta nope not at all.
Oh you know and another Ambiguously Brown Main Character who doesn't spend half a season getting ruined. |

Rustal I can respect for being smart and competent at least. Jullietta was a tool and despite what Rustal may think really didn't show any skills that makes me think she be any good at holding the New System in Order. I think I predicted before that while Rustal lives the system is probably pretty safe but if Julietta and Gali Gali are steering the ship yeah that is going to cause issues. |

And how is that sin? It's not like she even actually killed either Mika or Shino (though she did competent job stopping Flauros shot).
Gjalahorn needed hero so she took role, nothing more and nothing less and she didn't do it for personal gain either. That's why whether she deserved it or not doesn't matter. Good person did good job and became good leader of now good peacekeeping organisation. How is that not good result?

Does it matter? They got to the top riding Rustal if you benefit from a corrupt system I don't really rate feeling bad about it all that highly. Especially since it seems all the Reforms are Rustal idea anyway. |

Yes I am such horrible person because I relate to Orga and didn't like his treatment during the Second Half of S2. As I said before the intent is irrelevant, the end result is what matters and saving Ride did nothing to mitigate things in my book.

Ride as an antagonist is certainly interesting. How years of revenge drove him insane or some kind, with persuasive actions and shallow, short-sighted motives, akin to the “King Of Mars” goal, only slightly more evil and misguided. Also, would like to see the protagonist kinda like SEED Destiny where they have 2 POVs, one from Gjallarhorn and how he sympathizes with the protag from the enemy side because how gullible they are and how he wanted to save them. While the “enemy” protag is a kid, goaded to this malicious purpose because he got nowhere else to go, similar to the Tekkadan kids, only to realize he’s only manipulated for a stupid and chaotic goal. Would love if they include the Gekko characters on a certain extent too though. |

He is crossing off a list...about that only interesting thing is how he views his former comrades and Kudelia in particular. I seriously doubt he be swayed by running Mars. Now he might set off a full scale Martian War, I don't see how Martian Terrorist assassinates Earth Leader doesn't cause issues.
