I use AMD Phenom II X6 1055T, and a AMD motherboard. The normal ram is 1333MHZ I run that, 1600MHZ is the highs possible ram now.

AMD: If you are going to upgrade you could buy a new motherboard if you need it to run AM3+ but you manufacture can also made a patch for you BIOS, so you can run AM3+.

I suggest CPU AMD AM3 FX-8120 (eight core)( around 177,31 euro)( around 221,25 dollar)

I suggest 8GB Ram (64 bits Operation system)(DDR4 is very quick like a speed of 2133MHz to 4266MHz.

But your system can play the most games.

Every year everything get doubled the speed of the processor and graphic cards.
