Man, Fighter Roa getting his hoverboard and Bow attack are awesome too. The Bow Attack is referencing Great Battle 3, the Medieval side-scrolling fighter, where Gundam had Sword, Ultraman had Morning Star. Kamen rider was a monk(IIRC?), and Roa was an archer.

Masaki says: "I'll erase you from the Akashic Record", seems like Akashic Buster is not just a magical attack doing physical damage, but it erases existence like Infinity Cylinder and Ain Soph Aur.

I don't know much about SRW EX's story, but I heard people talking about it as it's related Akashic Record. Possible EX plot finally?

Btw, 60 fps PV

Cybuster is run by a device called the 'Laplace Demon/Magic Computer'. People usually translate it as 'Demon' Computer, but actually the kanji for it can mean both Demon and Magic, personally I prefer Magic as its what the Masou Kishin are all powered by.

Theoretically the Laplace Computer is so powerful, its said to be able to predict all events so accurately, supposedly drawing from and affecting the Akashic Record. Basically the Akashic Record is a mythical plane where all existence are kept, the fate and destinies of everything.

Cybuster draws his power from Masaki, using his 'Prana', like MP for casting magic. Cybuster can only be as powerful as Masaki's will can hold, currently in OG Masaki can't even use the 'Spiritual Possession' ability that was in the Alpha series. During Spiritual Possession, Cybuster's Wind Elemental Cyfis possesses Masaki to draw out even greater power.

If Masaki ever fully awakens, Cybuster will become one of the strongest entities in the Multiverse, like Dis Astranagant and Ji Edel, being able to affect the Akashic Record directly.

Do we have Masou Kishin thread here?
New game, Masou Kishin II: Revelation of Evil God, will be released on PSP. There's also a Masou Kishin I & II limited bundle with remastered version of DS one that will upgrade the visual and add new mecha.

Black Cybaster = Masou Kitei Zelvoid
Its pilot's name is Elan Zenozakis.

On Terada's blog....

Quote:
Terada update:

- OG2 is still in development (most likely answer to 2ch posts that mentioned this possibility). He apologies for not being able to share any new animation at this time, it's all his fault, and so on.

- He mentions that Masoukishin II was planned way before OG or Alpha, but they ended up giving priority to other works (so the 2ch rumor was right). He talks about a bunch of stuff we already know (95% complete, developed by Winky Soft, scenario is written by Sakata, and so on...). The things we didn't know is that familiars that weren't voiced will be voiced (Tyutti's wolves and Chika, the later confirms that Shuu is in, not that it needed confirmation).

- Currently they're making the PV and CM.

Strange to not see any mention of the reworked animation and to hype it, but truth be told Terada never made great comments regarding animation that I remember off.

Edit: Forgot to mention that Masoukishins will have new attacks.
Btw, Famitsu updated the article.

Looking great so far.
The PV will be released at 1st Nov.

I don't know, SRW thread kinda dies down in animesuki recently. Hope it will be back to its glory days when 2ndOGs and Z2.2 come out.

Personally, I'm kinda disappointed they're gonna release MK II first before Z2.2. Months passed without new words about Z2.2 is depressing. Look like they won't keep their promise to release Z2.2 in the end of 2011
The only latest news I got related to Z2 was the 1/144 model kit for Brasta manufactured by Kotobukiya will be released on 2012 :\

Btw, I heard MK II will cover Asakim back story?

That's just rumor, since Asakim's Ray Buster animation has one image of the Cybuster with a missing arm, and we see an Zervoid also has different arm.

No 2ndOGs news is even more depressing, seeing the game was announced to be released before Z2.2, and now got delayed.

well even though I hope more for SRW Z2-2, I'm still happy with this Masoukishin 2 release.
no comment about OGs2 delay, didn't own PS3, yet.

I bought the PS3 because there was a "working title" for the PS3. Well, that's the story of 4 years ago.

wow I'm impressed with this PV, I mean look at that horde of cool enemies! (although shu still the best!)

and after watching the PV, I can't decide between chibi style and this new style. both are great, I can't choose which one's the best..

You mean SD style. I still prefer SD for smoother movement, though.

The enemy side is really cool that I want both to be playable .

yeah SD style!
hm, I admit the sd style was smoother but it's still great (or refreshing?) to see the mecha in his actual size/appearance moves than just SD in srw

same here, I really hope we can recruit some of the enemy because hell a lot of them looks great! (both chara design and mecha)
