You forget Roswaal, Ram and Rem who have shone to use magic as well. I think their are best examples of what the majority of standard magicians in this world (well not so much Roswaal since he has affinity for all 4 major attributes) are like.

Based on what Aohige has said about Witches however their magic differs for you regular mage, wizard or spirit user because it based on higher concepts like time, causality, emotion, reality or space on a large scale.

@miroku apparently the 25th of every month. Scans of this arc has recently caught up to Japanese magazine releases BTW.

Second manga I meant as in the reboot, not second arc. The artist changed for the second arc so there was a huge recap chapter which showed a lot more brutality.

Huh, what, just checked this thread and there is some kind of argument going on who killed Subaru in loop 3? There is actually no question about who it was. Is the manga badly drawn or what? Where are the manga chapters up till anyway?

No the art is fine, it's more of a matter of personal interpretation.

We are actual in the 5th loop which I think might be the final one as Beatrice is in midst giving him a crash course on curses 101 and some more info about the Witch's scent. Subaru has finished all the pieces together from his previously loops and with Beatrrice's infomation narrowed down the shaman to the village.

And yeah Balls = Barasu which aohige pointed out awhile back is a mis-translation.
