Hey, this is a part of my I.S/Gundam 00 fic. Read it and tell me what you think!

"Hey, Charlotte, do you know what I.S is there? It is from France, so you must have known." - Ichika asked one of his classmate, a light-brown haired, European girl.
"Ah, it's the Enact! The next 3rd-generation Mass-production I.S developed by Dunois Coporation. While not as powerful as our machines, it's quite formidable on the field."
"And the pilot... Who is she?"
"Louise Halevy. If not for her arrogant, she could be quite a pleasant person and talented operator. I am sure the reason they put up to her is because of her family..."
Charlotte's sentence was suddenly interupted by a crash through the window. Then, a mysterious I.S attacking Louise and the Enact with its Beam Saber. As her railgun was sliced to half, Louise drawed her Plasma Knife and thus began a ballerina of blades.
Unlike normal I.S, this one has almost a humanoid appearance. The green, blue and silver machine fits perfectly to the user's body. The weapon generate an unknown, almost hostile-looking azure particles from his back. A red core with V-Fins on his forehead, writing a line: "Exia". One more weird thing: A giant blade neetly folded backward on its right arm, reminds everyone of an old-school razor shaver...
The mysterious I.S immidiately caused mumurs, wispers and yelling throught the students. And as Ichika turned his head to catch a glimpse of it, he couldn't just shrugged the comparision that the Angel of Punishment, Gabrielle, has manifested itself into this I.S. And here is it, the first step to mold humanity once again into God's vision...

I'm not all that sure on if I want to start reading Vol. 8 just yet. Despite 3 chapters have been translated already. I'm thinking of reading it so I can get ready for making more content when it occurs in my fic.

Wierd imaginings. Mainly for gundam but... it might actually apply here too.

Imagine if IS actually chose their pilot. A pair which are specially made to synchronize with the mind of the pilot.

At the same time, there is a game made to simulate piloting an IS. This can be played by both women and men.

That one moment, when a mock battle using the IS and the IS simulation game started simultaneously, the two connected despite being miles apart. It becomes that the designated pilot is no longer the true pilot but the arcade player is. The player is actually more skilled and it becomes a secret that he is the true pilot of the IS which is still registered under the IS pilot.

As the body of Houki slowly faded in the endless corindoor, a mysterious figure in black climbing into her room through the window. Immidiately, he opened Houki's "sensetive clothes" section of her Wardrobe. Then, he took out the hood, revealing a grinning and drowling Ichika... Soon, another mask covered his face, this time one of Houki's (cough) "pantie" (cough). As he looking smugly at himself on the mirror, I.S-kun's voice once again echoed:
"Mayday! MAYDAY! Get out of there...now... Oh no!"
Yup! Standing on the front door is a certain confused Childhood Friend, who just came back from retrived her Bokken from the gym. As her mind scramble to understand the situation, only one answer came on, and that only lead to one respond:
"Ichika, You HENTAI-BAKA!"
... Due to the graphics element of the next scene, we are sorry to interupt it. But you guys could just guess the rest with these agony screams of Ichika.

It could make some sense why a man could pilot an IS, if that's your intention of course. Also the thing of the "IS choose its pilot" gives some interesting possibilities (seeing how a random person/player with good reaction times could be better in combat than a trainee).

I think the most interesting part is the interaction between the pilot and the player. While the pilot has no idea what's going on and sometimes the IS just goes and moves on its own, the player has knowledge that when the screen changes, the IS battle he is fighting in is real. Whether what it means to win or lose he does not know. At least to some extent he does not know.

Good choice! The question is: Which way would this lead to - total dominace or utter failure?
(Not really a fan of Tenchi Muyo, though. Thinking more of a Nanoha/KissxSis/TWOGK)
Now for today topic: We all have been toying with Chifuyu and Madoka's emotion/feeling for a long time, but what could be the charm? Is it a way of rebellion? Or you guys simply found that they are perfect for Ichika?

Well, maybe this one would help:

Spoiler for Vantier's Weapon Spec.... might post the full spec (speed..etc) when I had the time:

Model Name: FVD-PU-2 (Frontier Vanguard Drone Production Unit 2) Cyril
Critical Mode: Ignis, Wyvern, Phoenix
(Another word for Critical mode is overheating. While Unit performance is greatly enhanced but will cause damages to the unit.)

Operator: Nemo

Armament: Unfortunately, Vantier units need time to build up enough energy to power-up their own weapons. Most weapons can be spammed once they reach certain level of energy generation.

Left Arm (Wrist mounted Bow unit, build into gauntlet): Useable in normal and Critical mode.

Arc Stabilizer (Limbs of the Bow), used to stabilize the flight of projectile allowing the unit to snipe at extreme long range or, simply through manipulation of the field, making the arrow move in unusual flight pattern.

Capable of doubling as a powerful shield, functions almost like absolute barrier allowing it to take hits from conventional weapon (Missiles and tanks) which means that it can't take hit forever. Against IS, this shield only protect the unit from a single shot before needing at least a few minutes to recharge.

Arrowhead (inside gauntlet): Fire energy Flechette which can easily pierced through a tank's armor or turn any war-machines into porcupines but deal little damages to IS.

Unfortunately, being a precision penetration weapon, it is not an AOE weapon. It doesn't cause any form of impact. However due to the energy Flechette remains for a while.... double more as annoying arrows which apply energy debuff.

However this can be changed when used in conjunction with Arc Stabilizer, turning the precision weapon into a powerful melee shot that can send any unit flying.

As an added bonus, so long as any one of Three Arrows is housed in the Bow unit, every shot gain the property of either [Tester] or [Breaker].

Three Arrows (Weaponize Adaptive Evolver, inside gauntlet): Programmable Arrows that can be used to determine material used in the construction of its opponent's defense then send the information to the AI who will program the arrows to gain the ability to beak the defense.

Comes in three: (function goes downwards if one of them miss or if the analysis done is wrong. For example, if first arrow (Tester) miss, the second arrow become [Tester] and the third arrow is [Breaker])

First: Tester (test the property of opponent's defense to create hypothesis for [Breaker])

Second: Breaker (think of it as always-critical attack)

Third Arrow: Eliminator (Upgraded version of Breaker, used only in Critical mode), Drain heat off the unit.

However, the projectiles (three Arrows) are actually physical in nature, even if Vantier is capable of making them on battlefield using raw material stored inside its body, the number of rounds are still limited.

Right Arm (Gunner Unit, mounted on top of gauntlet): Powered up in Ignis Critical.

Bullethead: Variation of Arrowhead, pack more punch with knockback capability but still deal chip damages to IS.

Bayonet (in gauntlet): "Simple" weapon ("simple" is actually deceptive notion, since it is using Weaponize Adaptive Evolver as yardstick, that is, unless you consider monomolecular blade as simple), sharp enough to cut through almost any solid matter but against anything Energy (attack, Shield, barrier, armor...etc).... it is useless orz.

Chest

Wyvern Roar (Chest mounted Cannon): Usable only in Wyvern Critical and above.
Release heat built up inside the Vantier unit for a powerful sonic-speed energy cannon..... Can easily take out a chunk of IS's Energy Shield. Unfortunately repeated firing is ill advised as it will damage the cannon as well.
This weapon drain heat off the unit but when certain(phoenix) critical limit is reached, the Heat reducing effect is lost (heat generated was too fast to be depleted in time even if repeated firing).

Full body
Phoenix Drive (near all cooling Ventilation unit): Usable in all Critical mode, but powered up in Phoenix Drive.

When used, giving the impression that the entire unit is on fire. Also releases destructive nanomachines at the same time when in Phoenix Critical.

However, it drain lots of heat and energy at the same time, which means it can not be spammed even in Critical Mode (go down by a level every time used and render their weapons usable).

When used during Critical mode, it release burst that is capable of repelling opponent's attack. In Phoenix Critical, it is capable of setting opponent on fire if they got too close.

Liberator's modes are called Formation (since the armor is actually made up of multiple modular drones units)

My teachers are right in front of me, one of them giving her usual grumpy look, while the other is giving her usual concerned look. Well, I can’t say that their actions aren’t justified, but I just have to wonder why is it that I am the only student who was made to come to this counseling room.

Ah, wait, I think I know the reason why—

“The student council is currently left with only two members, Orimura-kun. The responsibilities required, especially for the chairperson is not something that can be handled alone.”

Yamada-sensei noted. Her short green hair looks like it’s glowing emerald under the afternoon sunlight shining through the window, and she’s obviously worried for this sleep-deprived me.

I pick up the glass of water from the oak table, and recalled what happened during the past 2 weeks or so as I gulped down the water from it completely.

After that attack by the 5 golems on IS Academy, the pace in the campus had been noticeably more frantic as we started to have more classes crammed in together. Practical training in particular had become more brutal, especially under the training of Guan Yu *THUD*, ouch, erm, I mean Chifuyu-nee. While I was barely able to keep up with the training, I did not have much time to actually study much, especially since I had my student council duties to take care of. Sarashiki Tatenashi-senpai, the student council president, had been busy recently as she had to attend to the repairs for her IS, the [Mysterious Lady] in Russia, or at least that was what she had been saying. Naturally, as the Vice president of the student council, I had to do my own duties as well as her own, and it had been rather taxing on me. I suppose that can be the reason why I’ve been getting only around 4 hours of sleep

Speaking of which, the courageous Guan Yu isn’t the kind to worry over administration stuff, is he? I thought that was supposed to be Koumei’s job.*THUD*

“You’re thinking about something stupid again, you fool.”

Argh, why is it that everyone can read what’s in my mind? It’s like I’ll lose very badly if I’m to play poker. Someone better glue my face so that I won’t show what I’m thinking next time.

“Well, I don’t want your grades to slip just because of a stupid excuse like your grades dropping due to student council overwork.

“Yes, Orimura-sensei.”

I’ll get chopped on the head by an attendance book if I call her Chifuyu-nee publicly in school. Honestly though, I suppose another reason why they are anxious over my results, even if Chifuyu-nee denies it, is because I am her younger brother. My older sister, Orimura Chifuyu, was the first winner of the Mondo Grosso, the Infinite Stratos International Fighting Tournament, and there had been comparisons between a legend like her and me because we’re siblings.

Of course, me being the one and only male in the world that can pilot an IS doesn’t help matters either, which is why I’m stuck here instead of going to Aoetsu Private School.

“Well, I know that you’re very busy because of Student Council matters, especially since the recent hectic schedule, but your studies are still important, you know.”

Yamada-sensei sighs, and continues,

“Anyway, it might be a good idea to recruit more people into the student council. Sarashiki-san did allow you to do whatever you want, right?”

Tatenashi-senpai did say that to me after she got out from the infirmary 5 days after the attack. Looking at the damage the [Mysterious Lady] took at the hands of the golem, I dare say that it will take quite a lot of time for it to be repaired completely. As senpai’s personal maid, Utsuho-san went to Russia with her, so the only ones left are Nohohon-san and me.

…Well, I suppose I’ve been doing 3 people’s worth of work, so what Yamada-sensei suggested does make sense, especially since Nohohon-san disappears quite often if I don’t keep an eye on her…

“I’ve been thinking of trying to pull people in to help out since it’s just Nohoho—I mean, Nohotoke-san and me working here. However, I don’t think any anyone—”

“Well, I don’t want you starting an election for the student council. If there’s anything stupid about democracy, it’s that we have a lot of idiots in this school.”

“It-it can’t be helped that Orimura-kun’s so popular, Orimura-sensei. He is the only male in this school after all.”

Me, popular? I think that’s the first time anyone other than Dan would call me that.

“You will have to choose your own student council members, Orimura. Looking at how they’re treating you like an exotic animal in the safari, I don’t suppose anyone will refuse you if you ask.”

“Orimura-kun, show us the proposal for your recruitment plan when you are done, okay?”

“Ah, yeah, okay.”

“I will allow you to bring in people to replace Sarashiki and Nohotoke for the time being. You will have the most authority in the student council for the moment, but you will still have to report to me regarding any major issues. Am I clear?”

“Yes madam.”

“Call me Orimura-sensei!”

*THUD*. Three times’ the charm, I guess? At the rate I get abused, I might grow a second head above my head.

“Just hang in there for the time being. You do have a lot of acquiantances you can help. Of course, the teachers are forbidden from actually doing any student council work that’s to be done by the students, since the purpose of the student council here is to develop leaders amongst students. Oh, and don’t mention anything about what you’re going to see now.”

Chifuyu-nee said as she took a sip from the can of beer she’s holding in her right hand. Erm, Chifuyu-nee, isn’t it still broad daylight? And how did you smuggle in beer in the first place? What are the security personnel doing? Are they just posing in front of IS Academy like those palace guards in Britain or something? No offense intended there, Cecilia.

—However, there begs the question of who I should ask for help.

I feel like I’ll end up being in a PK zone against a party if I choose any single one of them. For some reason, the other girls would come after me with killing intent whenever I got kissed or was about to kiss.

In that case, the only option left for me is—

Well, here is mine creation:
Model name: DiEnd.
Operator: Ichika Okumura, Madoka Okumura (See "S.I.A.I" for detail).
Material: E-Hexagon Carbon.
Armanments: Multi-weapon Intergrated Blaster (the Den-Gasher, with Gun Mode resemble a rifle)
4xSlash Harken, two on forearms, two on waists.
2xHi-energon Crystal-focused Cannon, folded on the back.
Systems:
Soul Imprint A.I: After Madoka's "death" followed the kidnapping, Tabane managed to take her soul into 001 core. However, all of her memories has gone.
Limitless Potential: Due to Madoka "is" the core, it have an amazing system of self-awareness and self-learning. Analyzing and Copy Enemies is now available, as well as synch-rate increasing and psychic ability (see "Nano Manipulator" for more information).
Nano Manipulator: Using millions of these tiny machine, DiEnd covers the air around it for many purposes (Force Field, Self-repair, increasing Data Gathering, Corrosion, Awareness,...)
