I added some references from earlier episodes to Telliamed's site.

- preview for episode 2 final line, “Honestly, next week will be interesting and cool, too!” is from Mashin Eiyuden Wataru. (no I haven't heard of this show either)
- preview for episode 3 final line, “The red lion goes roar!” is from Jushin Riger
- episode 3 - the bleep 1/1 model of a tiger made by Kaiyodo (confirmed from the dvd)
- preview for episode 5, “This one will be awsome!” is from Choujinki Metalder (live action)
- preview for episode 11, “An armor surrounds your heart” is from Ronin Warriors
- episode 15 - Ayumu's cell phone is the FOMA P903i

Two fixes
- episode 4 - when the teacher is building a gundam model, yukiji says something about a gun***. It's not gundam but gunpla (i think)
- preview for episode 9, “3×3 Eyes! We shall meet in the land of the triclops” is lines from the Three-eyed One not 3x3 Eyes

See I knew it was from Three-eyed One. I posted it earlier in the general section(Before the subforum was made) everyone thought it was 3x3 eyes.

Well heres one I should have noticed before.
Hayate's tie is the same as the female school uniform ribbon in Evangelion.

I guess you're right. EF - a tale of memories uniforms have the same red ribbon and Da Capo's uniform has a yellow version.

in episode 22 I think at 13:40 (ss eclipse ver.) you see the logo that appears in evangelion

Umm... The title for episode 22... it said's A genius teacher, who's not small, appears. I am thinking Pani Poni Dash. Anyone thinking the same ^_^?

Episode 22, in the ep.23 preview (ss-eclipse at 24:24) the last line:

Anata wa shinjiraremasuka?

(which would translate "Can you believe it?" or as ss-eclipse put it "Can you have faith?")

is a quote from Higurashi no Naku Koro ni. The episodes' preview of the first season always ended with that line said in a low, dark voice.

Let's count the DN references in 23.

Spoiler:

1. They mention how cake helps the brain with L's cake in the background. (Though it was thinking that made you keep your weight despite eating nothing but sweets)
2. The teacher's pose when saying "I've won"
3. Many thought out plans.
4. After the incident, she mentions how Heaven is on her side.
5. She says she will become god of the new world.
6. The commercial involves apples and the 3 girls talking about how crimes were being brought to the Light.
7. When the sensei talks about Hayate's actions, the poses she makes are similar to when Light was explaining his actions in the last episode.
8. The report.
9. A stillshot of Sensei making the classic Light pose.
10. Hayate saying that Sensei lost reminds me of when Near told Light he lost.

Eight getting revenge on Hayate (Though not intentionally) and all the DN references makes this my favorite episode!

I don't really remember this one either. It could be the new characters of the anime or it could be referenced to something else.

Its a guy with a big sword... Don't really remember him. I don't watch much action anime.

He uses like sharp sword nails to fight as his physical appearance looks like Nagi's Grandpa O.o...

Your gonna add this too to the reference list right? I am gonna edit my posts so that people will know who are the people. Can someone vertify if the 10th person is sephiroth? After all, they did use a Final Fantasy blooper in episode 27 so I was pretty sure it was him.

When they have the shot of the railway car where Miki's butler was, the conductor from Galaxy Express 999 is standing at the front of the car.

For those unfamiliar with the Galaxy Express 999 series, it was done by Leiji Matsumoto as a manga in the 1970's, and was adapted to an anime in the early 1980's. I know that at least the manga was licensed in America. As far as I know, the anime was never licensed. It's still worth watching, if you step into it with the understanding that it is an allegorical story.

Three and four is Dash! Yonkuro. I never seen it but after watching a youtube video of it, it's a show about people hitting cars with hockey sticks

For five I'm guessing Nabeshin from Excel Saga. I never got around to see it so I'm not sure if he ever gets hit by a car

It's a hunch, but I'm going to say 7-11 will appear in the anime and all as original characters. In picture 7, Shion is on the left. If it is, I'm looking forward to Hayate fighting the guy in picture 10. The long sword really does look like Sephrioth's sword.

Also, did any one else think of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni when they saw the new ending?
