Transformers
Hi.
There's been a whole host of printed fiction for Transformers, created both in the West and in Japan. In the West, publishers as far-ranged as Marvel, Dreamwave and IDW have released comic series (and in IDW's case, continue to do so) while TakaraTomy have commissioned manga series and in-box text and comic stories for some of their own series. This thread is intended to be a catch-all one, for talking about the various Japanese and Western works already in (or out of) print, as well as discuss those yet to come. For example, this art is from a 4-part miniseries IDW will be releasing later this year - Transformers: Drift. The character in question has been... somewhat divisive since his introduction, but perhaps this mini will be a better way to show what he's all about. IDW have an ongoing monthly series, just wrapped up a 4-part Bumblebee mini and are midway through another mini called Last Stand of the Wreckers. Plus, the Collector's Club have their own magazine, their own comic and text stories, and what have you. Meanwhile, TakaraTomy are exploring the Alternity toyline setting in comic and text form, with each new release - though there are English-language translations out there. EDIT: There's also a novel due out this summer, called Transformers: Exodus. Might be interesting.

There's a 5-page preview up for tomorrow's (in North America, Thursday's in Ireland and the UK) release of IDW's Last Stand of the Wreckers #3.
The last page is just icing!
