It's also Italian, I think;albeit the magino can be one word, but whatever.

it sound like "Magi of figure" or "Figure of Magi" .
I think this is how it spell Magi no figure. The word "magi" is always used in online game.It means magic or magician, but I don't really sure is this valid in horizon or not...

Upon some research, Magi no Figur would make sense, except the random addition of a Japanese particle; Knight and Naruze being German, figur means figure and magi means magic.

That's practically the reason why: her constant changing of names, even with her close friends. Remember that Kimi did not introduce herself by her real name to Futayo, and since the ability of the Tonbokiri is to slice phenomena — including names — Futayo tried to slice Kimi's name to disable her ability, only to find herself slicing through every single fake name in Kimi's arsenal.

Got bored, so I did a timeline of event according to the anime... Feel free to correct me.

Spoiler for Bored work:

But for a brief, this is the summary from what I can understand:

- In far future, human with advanced technology abandoned the Earth to go to a better place called Heaven.

- But that place later got destroyed by war, hence people had to move back to Earth, and found out that it's not livable anymore.

- They found out a place call Devine States, the only livable place on Earth, however, it was too small.

- They tried and created another Devine State, named it Harmonic Devine States.

- They tried to rebuild the Heaven, by recreating the history (believing with the flow of history, they will eventually get back the lost technology) - starting from 10,000 BC. To do this, they used the books called "Testament", which record the old history.

- AD 1413, war broke out and Harmonic Devine State got destroyed.

- Harmonic Devine State people then invaded the original Devine State, apparently, they won and Devine State got divided into factions.

- Then they started recreating history again, from AD 1457. But then found out, there's no record in the Testament about what happen in after AD 1648. Hence believing that will be the end of the world. (Start of episode 1)

- AD 1638, Horizon and Toori got kidnapped and Horizon got her emotion extracted away to create the Mortal Sin's Armaments. Her soul, also the "Envy" part of the Mortal Sins, was given to a automaton call P-01 (the current Horizon in the anime)

- AD 1648, 20 April, Toori decided to confess to P-01, (cos she resembles Horizon) who was currently working on Blue Thunder in Musashi, a flying ship/city. At that time Musashi was near Mikawa. (Episode 1)

- Later that day, Motonobu with his companions sinks Mikawa to alarm the world that the Apocalypse is near. P-01, as Motonobu's daughter had to pay her father's crime by killing herself and become the armament to prevent the Apocalypse. She got captured by the Testament Union. (episode 5)

- A day after that (21 Apr), Toori and co had to convince Musashi (the whole ship) to help them rescue P-01. (Hence episode 6, 7, 8, 9)

- After the debate, Musashi agreed to help Toori and co rescuing P-01, by making Toori and Horizon Ariadust the viceroys of Musashi. Toori acquired 1/4 of Musashi's power. However, they will be at war state with the Testament Union until 24 Oct, AD 1648 for the Peace of Westphalia conference. (End of episode 9)

- After that, well, you know, going into war....

All these happen in GENESIS stage. Apparently, after FORTH (our current reality), AHEAD and EDGE, what the people in GENESIS stage wants to archive is the technology in FORTH stage. It's lost now in GENESIS stage by the dominant of AHEAD's technology. That's why GENESIS people wants to create the history (FORTH) again...

I don't get OBSTACLE and CITY. Does that mean the world got destroyed at the end of GENESIS, and the people tried to rebuild it? Does that mean Toori and Co. failed?
