I've seen people saying that due to some contractual BS, the MCU still doesn't have the rights to the F4. Anybody know if this is true? Doom is one of my favorite villains ever, so this would especially suck for me.
As for the X-Men, I think they'll be off in their own little corner of the MCU, and only appear in crossover movies like Avengers, so basically like the Guardians. Deadpool is walking on thin ice because no one wants him toned down, so at best perhaps they could slap a literal comical censor on his face and make it a running gag in something like Avengers or a Spiderman crossover? |

Disney already own them all. That's why they are included on that list. The only things that Disney do not own from Fox are: Fox Broadcasting network and stations, Fox News Channel, Fox Business Network, FS1, FS2 and Big Ten Network.

Basically Fox sold off all of their entertainment assets since they weren't making a lot profit which is why they sold if off so they can focus on their news and sports divisions. Furthermore, the Fox Board of Investors had wanted to do this for a long time but couldn't due to Rupert Murdoch and his Saudi partners having large share of the company which prevented that. Then came the Saudi Crown Prince's corruption crackdown which led the Saudi partners to sell their shares, allowing the now majority investors to overvote Murdoch and sell 21st Century Fox.

See how eager them to let off Simpson. Simpsons popularity must so decline so low, with Disney having Simpsons i doubt they will allow their offensive adult joke to presented in their family friendly channel.
Now i am waiting for Peter response to this. Spoiler for RIP Simpsons NSFW:

I expect the X-men and F4 comics to get revitalize now that the cinematic properties are under the Disney umbrella.
As for the movies themselves, they should add one more scene at the end of Infinity War part 2: A shot of a castle with a figure in a green cloak walking onto its balcony. |

This new Disney Fox deal definitely makes me a happy camper, F4 and X-Men are back where they should, my only real trouble is if we are gonna get any more movies from lesser properties.
I mean, the only reason we have Guardians, Ant-Man, Doctor Strange, Captain Marvel movies, heck even a Black Panther movie was mostly because Marvel didnt have those 2 aformentioned properties, some of their bigger assests. I just hope this doesnt take priority over lets say a Nova or Namor movie, those are some I want to see in the big screen

ABC Has Quietly Cancelled The Poorly Received InHumans TV Show
Good. Now let us pretend this show never existed in the MCU.

I haven’t watched it either (don’t have time to waste on it), but it’s already guilty for casting Iwan Rheon in it. He deserves a bigger role. He could’ve been a great Doom, but no, let’s waste him for Inhumans series.

I couldn't get past Inhuman's first (two-parter) episode...
By the end of the first episode, the only one I found sympathetic was the villain and, from what I heard of people who kept watching, they don't make any attempts to make the heroes any likable throughout the rest of the season, they simply reveal to bad guy to be an even bigger a$$hole. So, had I continue watching the show, I would have been left with no one to root for at the end. |
