The girl sure deserves it after all the crap they put her through. For real, I would like those bastards to die in a gruesome manner, but they need them alive, or else the truth will never be known. That police inspector and the girl know that better than anyone else who is ignorant of the situation.

Honestly, this would be a more enjoyable read, if it didn't feel like at times Pumpkin exhibited super human strength, let alone how many time she got away in situations she should have been caught. Pointless violence, indeed.

It's been a year since the fiasco that happened and Kazuya got his revenge on Naruto, finishing Naoko's work. Naoko survived due to a doctor who saved her from the brink of death, and he's also working on fixing up her face, although has faced some failures, however this doctor has a hidden darkness within him and has assisted Naoko in her killings. As for Naoko, she lost her memories from being dropped from a high altitude in the construction area that Naruto, his father, and his friend threw both Naruto and Kazuya. She confronts the detective that was looking for confirmation that Naoko still lives, and there's a chase to the mansion where's Naoko and the doctor both resides, alongside a talking dog, he loses Naoko there. Naoko continues to haunt and punish people she deems deserving of death, leaving a mark of her brutal vigilantism for all to see. As for Kazuya, he's despondent and remained in that state for over a year in a mental institution, until the detective sparked his spirits by telling him that Naoko's alive. Kazuya is told by the guy that they have to stop Pumpkin Night for Naoko's sake. Meanwhile Naoko begins remember Kazuya little by little.
