Angry Remove Airpush from Android phone

A family member of mine recently got a new android phone but the phone keeps getting popup ads and an EULA for "Airpush" to allow popups on the phone.

Despite not agreeing and even uninstalling any apps that might cause problems, the ads keep coming back!

We even try going to store for help but the engineer who repairs phone told us this particular phone model has a problem as trying to root it will only cause the phone to be "bricked".

Is there anyway to remove or block these Airpush ads permanently?

Airpush is a API platform that developers can use to serve ads to you. Any app on your phone could use it. It'd be easier to just post a list of all the apps on the phone and maybe I could find the culprit.

Also, what phone is it? It would be pretty sad if it was like a 50-100 dollar Android phone.
Lastly, I'd recommend to just basically uninstall everything except Google play services and Google play store and then just going from there, only install apps you need

Unfortunately, there are some apps you can't uninstall but only disable unless you root the phone.
And it's those apps that are causing the problem.

EDIT: The model is a Galaxy A9 SM-A9000

Ahhh bloatware.

I don't know why the person was telling you that you would brick your phone but there is a root that works on that model(sm-A9000). I'd recommend cf auto root.

Also is it on marshmallow or lollipop?

i don't know what brand and android os your phone is but some of ad only can be removed by rooting your phone.
Try this article if your Android is above 4.1 http://phandroid.com/2012/06/29/say-...1-jelly-beans/
If your phone is out of warranty, try rooting your phone (brick possible but i think it worth a try).
There're some apps helping root your phone but they won't work on all android phone)- Root all devices is such an app: Play Store, apk file for download from Pc/Other phones
if the app doesn't work on your phone, you can find tut from XDA forum, there may be some exceptions, you can get instruction from XDA team.

Good luck.
