Is the part about Arrancar rebels who stole the hougyoku a filler ? Is sure does look like it.

What's the difference between a regular shinigami and Ichigo/vizards ? How come ones have hollows inside and the other don't ? Why does Ichiga has one ?

Ok...these questions randomly popped into my head when I was trying to get my sleep last night......

Were Rukia and her sister originally living outside the Court of Pure Souls?
Were they Shinigamis even before they got involved with Byakuya's family?
What's the difference between an Espada and Arrancar?

I still don't get Bleach....
I guess I need to watch it from episode 1 ALL OVER AGAIN!!! =(

Espada is just a name for the 10 strongest Arrancar from what i can understand.

Tricky question, we know next to nothing about Hisana Kuchiki but given Byakuya Kuchiki's personality i doubt he would have had a chance to meet let alone end up wed to a nonshinigami I belive it's safe to say she likely was a shinigami before they got involved. Rukia was not a full shinigami when Byakuya showed up inviting her to become his sister but seemed to be in her final year of school and was near the top of the second highest class, so there is little dobut she would have become a shinigami on her own.

Strictly speaking the Espada are the heads of Azein's army. Most of the time they are made of the 10 most powerful Arrancar, but as shown with Grimjaw if they anger Azien or are damaged they can be removed from the Espada even if they are stronger then other members in the group.
Arrancar are just hollows that have removed their masks and gained powers of shinigami.

Spoiler for hollow powers, vizards etc.:

Ichigo got his hollow during shinigami training, just before going into SS the first time. He had began to transform into a hollow before releasing his soul slayer (and regaining his shiniagami powers). The other Vizards must have gone through a similar process, except probably on purpose, to increase their power, not by accident like Ichigo.

3) Kido is shinigami magic, and can be used to heal, bind or attack (and probably some other things). Various characters have used it.

Its because his last name is shiba. Another member of the family, Shiba Kaien was rukia's ex vice captain. The exact reason if im not wrong isnt really explained, but its probably because of kaien's free personality and disregard for the rules ( which i suspect is rampant around the whole family ) as well as the fact that his death brought much grief to rukia.... i think.

It wasn't so much that byakuya wanted to kill ganju, as it would have been an insault to a member of an other noble house, even if they are a fallen house, to hold back when faceing him.

its not confirmed that he was a captain, reread the chapter, he only implied that he is/was captain level because of his ability to seal the zanpaktou

I can't wait to see him in action! I think he was a captain and I think his being on earth and not having his powers has something to do with urahara... anyway I want mor BanKis from ichi's dad urahara and def. rukia! Am I alone in this???!!!

urahara has a bankai, isshin probably has a bankai, but i doubt that rukia has a bankai. She isnt even a seated, and she is weak. If she gets a bankai, it would cheapen the thing called "bankai" even more than it already has been.
