Yeah..I was worried that she took permanent damage or something to her knees that led up to not being able to perform again

Permanent? She could probably get taken out of the upcoming performance because of her injury, but I wouldn't call it permanent.

there's the point to continue if Minoru the one who'll continue(to live out Hiroko's dream), and Hiroko supports him from the stands

really glad here this manga(this thread) started getting attention.

The one who already realized/noticed that Minori is Minoru is Maeda Atsuko(100%) and I think Akimoto Yasushi for now.
Now who'll notice it the next? Here hoping Takamina senpai to be the one

The doctor said that it's not life-threatening so I hope it'll be just temporary.

On another note, that opening performance was kinda...unexpected.

Got myself up to Chapter 44. Excellent piece of work.

EDIT: with Aachan's eventual departure looming, would the manga reflect real-life events? Some may think it's crazy but... Did the manga foresee that Minoru/Minori could replace Aachan as center?

I don't think anyone could foresee that. I mean, her retirement supposed to be something so surprising right? It might be possible for this manga to reflect real-life situation, but it wouldn't happen anytime soon.

So...anyone got a prediction on whom will Okabe fall in love to?

Given how much attention AKB gets in general, I am surprised this isn't more popular. Maybe it's the gender bending, although at this point I'm convinced Minoru/Minori is a girl who cross-dresses as a guy.

Seriously though, this is a really good story, and it's always fun to read.

I too was wondering how this romance thing would work for Gekokujo, but I guess chapters 62 and 63 answered that easily: have Okabe fall for Minoru for a potentially wacky love triangle... not that I mind, since this new side of Okabe is growing on me.

I'm also surprised at how quickly Minoru picked up on Okabe's feelings. It's only been two chapters despite him being "dense".
