Hello! I'm new to this light novel, and have been reading the translations online. I just want to know whether Reki dies at the end of Volume 6.

The R stands for Rimfire. The particular ammunition we're talking about is one of the few rimfire cartridges left around.

It actually means rimfire but is generally undrstood to mean Russian as well seeing how it's been around for over a century...

and is also one of the most oldest bullets in service... for some reason or another... Russian arms tend to be simple... yet very devastating.

rimfire and rimmed/rimless ammunition refer to different things. The 7.62x54mmR is a rimmed cartridge.

No professor Moriaarty yet so far. But Holmes and Watson are already included. Expect a descendant of him to show up.

Reki doesn't die in the end of vol 6.

The one you did yesterday made me have a lot of dreams in one Kinji could Fly and his Desert eagle fired a lot of crazy things, then he saved the Reki, with some kind of enhaced Histerya Mode.

The one you did yesterday was the best.

I really can't help it...that I keep comparing Reki and Misaka 10032 from Toaru no Majustu Index. They're situation seems so similar...

Btw Hikari I think I'm going to change some of your "And's" and "But" that you used in opening sentences with although, coincidentally, also, however, etc...just to make it more concise and coherent. Although, I'm not going to change it as much when a character is using it in their dialogues since Grammar isn't mandatory in conversations. So, I'm going to change it in the narration of the story when I feel that a word is being overused too much, of course feel free to make changes if you deem it necessary or if my edits stray from the author's intentions a bit.

Also, a fraction of volume 7, chapter 1 is done.

P.S. Maybe its because I'm editing Toaru too that I see these similarities more easily.

Side note but I'm annoyed at whoever keeps editing the tvtropes page for this and labeling Shirayuki a Yangire.

It's pretty easy to guess who the person attacking them is.

Two main things gave it away, when Reki said "little girl" and the fact the enemy dogs were Chinese Shar-pei.

Didn't we just see a younger Chinese girl earlier in this volume?

Good freaking damn my respect for Kinji is dropping faster than a lead lined rock. A GIRL is getting SHOT UP protecting you and all you can do is be useless then run. You didn't even try. I mean seriously, where's your pride as a man??

he has pride to not do it. Maybe it can be called cowardice or stupid but he really can't hold back in that situation. Unlike his big bro and his father hysteria mode. His HSS is too strong in impulse to for him and his scared of it. But even so he did do his best to get Reki out of danger even if under pursuit of an enemy.
