Kyuukai appears initially as a Masked Gentleman who helps the Idols. Because the KoE's human pilots all wear uniquely baroque masks, the ST@RS initially thought he was on KoE's side, but his actions prove otherwise. He is later revealed as Kyuukai, Tabane's adopted son and hence the SHOOTiNG ST@RS nameless "Security Chief".

I would but the current arcade they're in is more of a classic type.

Spoiler for Scene: As the two actively fight each other, Inami sits at one of the nearby racing game pods, racing against computer-controlled opponents. “Hoh… Didn’t know you like racing too, Inami.” Cecilia remarks as she walks behind him just as he finishes the race in first place. “Hmm?” He turns his head and sees Cecilia holding the top part of his seat, smiling at him. “Ah, Cecilia-chan! Not entirely, I play racing games mostly because it involves handling high-speed reflexes.” “Reflexes?” “Uh-huh! Wanna race?” “Eh? But I’m not really…” “It’s fine. I’ll guide you along, yeah?” He offers as Cecilia simply smiles and sits at the pod next to him. Another hand lightly taps onto his shoulder, prompting him to turn his head and finds Tsurugi standing next to him. “Hey, Tsu-chan!” “May I…?” “Sure! It’s much more fun with more players!” Tsurugi then takes her seat on the other side of his pod as the trio then slots in a token in their respective machines. “Shall I guide you along as well?” He calmly asks Tsurugi. “Please do.” “Well then, ladies. Watch and learn!” The two girls watch as he goes through different selection screens while trying to follow his actions themselves. “Manual? Automatic?” Cecilia asks, puzzled as to what the two choices mean. “I usually pick Manual since it gives me more control over my speed. Though Auto isn’t so bad, in fact, it’s good for beginners!” “I see… Guess I’ll run with Automatic then.” Tsurugi decides as Cecilia does the same. The game then begins as the cars of all three players are set behind the starting line while a countdown time flashes on their screen. “W-Wait! How do I move!?” Asks Cecilia as she panics while looking at the countdown. “Right pedal, buddy. Step on it!” He replies as the race begins with Tsurugi taking the lead. The speedy start slowly overwhelms Cecilia as she struggles to keep herself from crashing into cars and barriers while Inami consistently shifts the gear stick with one arm and controlling the wheel with another. “Waaah~! Too fast!” “Relax, Cecilia-chan. You just need to know where you’re going.” “O-Okay…!” Inami weaves his way through the other cars with ease, eventually taking the lead from Tsurugi while drifting along a curve. “What the…?” Her eyes widen in shock upon seeing his car drifting past hers smoothly, passing the curve with little issue, then looks over to him. “That’s one thing Manual control allows you to do, Drifting.” He remarks with a wink. “Fascinating…” She says in disbelief then looks back at the screen. __________________ "You cannot be bad at watching a movie. You cannot be bad at listening to an album. ...But you can be bad at playing a videogame, and the game will punish you and deny you access to the rest of the videogame."
