Well the trailers had three guy and among them appeared as villain.
If there anything else to predict then it's very likely male selector will appear in Lostorage.
Previous series reference can't be taken as permanent reliable reference forever, the directors could think to other direction, just saying.

yeah, they could be playing the game, but no way they could become something like LIRG, just impossible, cause in the card game, every single card, no matter what type, SPELL, SIGNI, LIRG, ART, of any color, every single of them have a girl in it, so no way they would introduce a male card.

And all they need to do are introduce new archetype which consist male cards, right?
This is fiction it's pretty easy to add new rule not to mention this is new series so there are freedom over it.

it just inconceivable, I mean in april fool they turned cards into males as a joke, so just no, the anime is made to promote the card game, and I believe the card game is promoted as bishojo battle card game, so it just plainly impossible for the card game to have male of any sort, player maybe, but cards? no, it out of the realm of possibility.

it about the image of the game as a whole, not something they could change by just adding a new archetype, they been gender bending gods and demon, historical figure/landmark and turn object and insect/animal into cute girls in cards, from archangel to cthulhu, from Alexander the Great to the Colosseum, from merry-go-round to giant hornet. so no way they could even think of adding male card.

Yeah, but I'm kinda hoping that some other characters from the first season will also appear as well, even if its a brief shot of one of them in the crowd.

However, I do like the idea of male selectors and the idea of having to bet your memories on the outcomes of games.

But seeing the trailer makes me wonder, if this change in the rules came about because Mayu's space collapsed.
