Because Anji is a robot herself?

Not impressed by the second episode to be honest. The way the monsters attack seem random, they are invincible ..but for the inner power of the child of peace? Boring.

Not really liking this (the rapey part in the middle just to have fanservice seriously turned me off), so will most likely drop it next episode unless they reveal Anji is the childhood friend. Which is very unlikely because...

Well....Dad's company (BST) is responsible for putting them there. So.. the question is why did the android look like his mother? II say "mother" because it's esier to have pics on an employee than someone on the outside.) Why does Anji look like his mother? Could Anji be his sister that he doesn't know about (abandoned because she has bloodivore tendencies unlike the MC)?

I missed the resemblance, that's a good sign of my level of attention.

Anyhow I thought she was a robot too, to stay close to the child of peace, now with the motherly touch I missed it makes even more sense, after his dad apparently killed/got rid of his mother, he needed a surrogate to keep his son in check and under control.

Not sure if the web comic is crap or the studio is terrible. this and the other anime from this studio is just awful.

unnatural character and scene transition - one moment they are traumatise with people dying, the next moment they are happy and joking around, one moment they a shown/hinted as useful character, the next moment they are useless coward. one moment they a naive sheltered character, the next moment they are clever master mind. its all over the place

action scene - worst i have seen in a long long time. full of awkward and physic defying movement like slowing floating upward. just terrible terrible choreography, a awful disjointed mess

The fights and animation of this anime are horrendous. I really wonder if the studio is even trying...

What I found hilarious though is, hundreds of men armed with shotguns and assault rifles couldn't even scratch a single monster. Meanwhile, assassin-kun butchering everything with a knife while walking as if on a stroll in the park.

Mi Liu: son of head of BST, research organization that kidnapped Bloodivores and put them in Aori to fight "bugs" as part of Plan B. He's a half-breed whose hemomancer power is related to gravity
Mi Liu's mon: researcher that went missing
Mi Liu's dad: head of BST, gave son a terminal to a database for him to survive and learn all about Aori
Anji: girlfriend of Mi Liu who was at an orphanage, hemomancer powers is shadow manipulation, part of Plan B, was monitored at the orphanage as a child. may have killed the people in the bank which got them arrested
Chen Fong: fellow Bloodivore friend, no hemomancer powers
Win Chao: ex-friend who wants to find the real murderer, no hemomancer powers yet
Yaya: girl who was found in weird space in Aori, also looks like Mi Lu's mom but is a blond, may have powers to revive people.
Lee Shin: Hemomancer with power to make blades
Lou Yao: suspiciously looks like Mi Liu's relative. badass hemomancer

Aori: a place behind a barrier for some reason
BST: hazardous workplace if you are a researcher, get job elsewhere.
