Asuka is confirmed to be Faceless's twin sister and they are in fact the manifestation of Gemini constellation!! The sisters have one last duel with Asuka finally awakened her true power (gift??) Indra the war god became surprised when he heard Izayoi's family surname. His family was the developer of The third perpetual motion machine, which would eventually affect Dystopia's rebirth. Canaria found out about it and indirectly killed his family off leaving only Izayoi behind.....
Finally the secret behind Izayoi's incredible power was because his body has the final mystery of humanity's inteligence (This part is the only part I still don't understand) and his own gift's true power is stated to be able to repulse even the End Emptiness!!

Wasn't Croix the one who told to Indra and Izayoi about his past ? If I'm right Croix have said(vol 10 or 11) once they defeat Azi he would tell the truth involving Izayoi and why Canaria choose him...

But it wasn't so much as Canaria choosing him as the power just landing into him. It was random from my understanding.

And he did say that after the battle he would tell him...this was in volume 11 when he said that I believe.

Izayoi said before he already looked up his real family when he was a kid so yes he knew. The revealation about his last name in vol 12 was Laplace to Indra.

The reason I say that is because of the Minotaur and Taurus. Granted the Taurus could be referring to the bull defeated by Gilgamesh and Enkidu, but the recent adaptations of the twelve zodiac are now being made to mirror Heracles/Hercules 12 labors. Of course this brings to question why did the author use Taurus to be the representing Sun Authority, and is the Zodiac being represented merely by the Sun Authorities or if by Sun Authorities, Gifts or people?
