Oh, I have lots to say, but it looks like I am the only person here with a Japanese PS3 and the said game. Kind of disappointing that I have nobody to talk about it.

It is an open RPGish game that connects just about every other series of the franchise in addition to a new fighter design for the game.

Ah yes, the triangle is alive and well

Eh, it's one of the many alternative continuities, anyway. Not that I wouldn't have liked to play it, but without the language skills and the console itself, it's kinda not happening.

I'm pretty much thinking... no, I WILL buy it as soon as my next paycheck lands. I probably won't understand shit, but found this nice site that has menu translations and basic story summary. So I should be fine...maybe...

Every time I see something new from Macross I damn the Robotech franchise altogether. Don't get me wrong, I also like Robotech, since it's my childhood's greatest memory, but it's crap that it doesn't have any sequels nor decent games...

So anyway Tak, I'm guessing the gameplay is awesome? What songs are there to use during battle? Do you like two female leads?

If you played the Ace Frontier series, the gameplay is quite similar. Lots of dog fights, transformation and squad battles. Although your squads act more like decorations to remind you that you are engaged in a much larger battle, despite you are doing almost everything by yourself

Although a lack of Clare-type oneesama in the game had proven to be a very slight disappointment

Because I am a PC gamer and I never had the money to spare to buy a PS3. As of now, still few money to spare and, as I said, there's the language barrier.

Well, I did order it. Still nowhere to be found, sadly.
Also, I'm kinda snobbing my PS3 for it's younger brother, now. Yeap, the PS4 is a godly machine.
