No and shoujo isn't a genre, it's s demographic targeted by certain magazines. That misconception has existed forever.

..... I do wonder "what is the news" to be announced in the next issue. To be honest with 3 volumes it feels too early for any for any other type of adaptation (weither it is OVA, Drama CD, Light Novel and Of course Anime). Maybe is something "smaller" like Iris Zero moving to another magazine and thus another release schedule? Time will tell.

"Drifting from the group" as you say would diminish the other characters though. Plus, the thing about a "smug" Iris Zero is that his power can be easily destroyed. It's not like the power he/she has over Toru is impossible to topple. In fact, I'd like to see a smug hidden Iris Zero who is forced by societal obligations to participate in teasing the Toru the known Zero. It'd be the most uncomfortable secret to be popular while hiding a social stigma.

Yeah, that one page looks like angst before the chapter even takes off. I'm not sure how I feel about that yet.

The chapter is out. It is really a nice chapter. Apparently, Mizushima is not compeletely fall in love with Koyuki. His love arrow is not a complete arrow.

Overall, it is a nice and cute chapter. Why is Koyuki so cute? Now I really want to see her parents. I wonder, will her parents approve Toru if they meet him? After all, he is Iris Zero.

I don't see why their parents would disapprove when people with Irises only became a majority with Toru's generation. The older generation is mostly without Irises.

Koyuki gets a cold, gang visits her house. While Koyuki and Toru are alone in her room she confesses in her sleep to Toru, but adds that she likes everyone else as well. Yeah I know...
