i actually feel bad for the main guy, all he wants is some quality time with his gf, if im in his situation, i would probably act the same way too

he doesn't appear that spineless and indecisive to me. To me, he seems like a normal college student who is waiting in line for the job market with a gf who is an idol.

How did Yoake get on the list...? And Makoto is 5th? With Taka-kun as 2nd? (Rather, I don't have a problem there, since Makoto is a good guy, but how did Takaaki beat him here...) I don't really think Takayuki was irritating at all... Then again, that's a game thing?

Ah an Anime version of an Ero-game I played long ago where I only ended up playing one Route because I didn't like how slow paced it was and my patience wasn't as high at the time.

I decided to check this out mainly due to my previous experience with the game and so far I don't have much to say just yet seeing as how it's just the first episode. But I'll continue to watch this and see how it goes.


But there is one thing I certainly didn't like in the anime though....They made Rina look like a snobby mean little "witch" in the anime as opposed to how she looks in the game. >_<

Hope Mana will make an appearance but seeing as how Touya said he was starting his tutor job soon I'm pretty sure we'll be seeing the one girl who I ended the game with.

I've seen KGNE, so I know why Takayuki is hated. I haven't seen School Days but I have heard things about it.

But I'm surprised that Takaaki is there. I mean, Takaaki from TH2 right? How is he such an evil incarnate like Takayuki and Makoto? Is he just lame to these folks?

Well thought it was a fine first episode. Definitely had to slow myself down a bit to get right into it. Getting a feel for the characters and the situation the lead is in. Feel pretty neutral regarding the guy to this point. Will see how he turns out. Hopefully its good enough that I don't feel sorry for whatever girl he is with.

Hmm didn't really get that feeling from her. Looked serious when on the job. But outside of that was nice in personality and felt fine. Guess pure appearance is pretty subjective though.

A lot of people do label Takaaki as pretty lame and pathetic, what with his problem with the females. I have nothing against him though, as expected i guess.

Personality wise she seems fine. I was just saying the appearance she has makes her look less like the cutie she was in the game and more like a hard azz or even a Tsundere. Meh, means I just gotta use to her look.

Honestly i think some people take it to the next level. Takaaki while annoying and indecisive was not as evil as some people make him out to be. Key points of male leads with bad reps. Indecisive, Cowardly, Sniveling and pathetic.

Though i have not seen exactly why Touya is hated yet i can only go by what people say from the game. But we are only episode 1 and the hate is going strong which worries me. Not the anime but what kind of warzone will be created in here.

The problem isn't as "generic" as you're stating to be. If that was the case, 50% of the leads would make it on the list, and the list would be rediculously long.
Yet in truth, the list is only about a dozen characters long. You see, those characters are mentioned for a reason.
They are the cream of the crop (or bottom of the barrel).

I take it from this and some of the other comments that my post was missing an awful lot of smilies.

Of course I know how many eroge are out there, and how those on the list are seen to be the "cream of the crop" (or, whatever the equivalent would be, in reverse). And I know that I simplified the issue to raise an ironic side-point. That being said, and this is a discussion for another thread, I'm not sure that the justification for being on that list is really all that substantial after all. Plus, it's an opinion like any other; I'd personally rate the "evil" characters way lower than the indecisive ones, but this is why I don't play any games on that side of the spectrum..

Anyway, relax and laugh a little. As a player of far too many eroge myself, I don't think we need to take it so seriously all the time. It was only a joke (with a little bit of a point). Time will tell whether this anime incarnation of the protagonist remains worthy of the "villainy" attributed to his name.

Touya is a students in university who look for a part time job and Yuki is an idol right?
what is the synopsis ? (can't find it , just the game)
A bit interesting , i will see the 2nd episode . But i don't understand , the 3 idols let the little girls bullied them or they joke with them too ?(like the end)

Yeah personally a bit on the opposite side of the fence myself . Haven't played the game I just hope it isn't a series where the chants for death are echoing. While I'm always willing to bring out the pitchfork and torch, it'd be nice to at least be able to tolerate the guy. Though its just how I end up going into these series.

Sonny, I've been playing eroge since you were an infant sucking on mommy's hooters. Yeah, I remember the era back when KOEI and freaking ASCII were still making porn games.
While you were learning how to walk, I was delinquently playing Gambler Jiko Chuushinha on the MSX in my computer club, and secretly playing Chaos Angels when the teacher wasn't around.

I don't need no emo lip about "omg eroge is so sophisticated I can't believe he called it porn what a moron blahblablah" crap. I know very well what today's eroge are, much more so than you can imagine.
In the end, regardless of how emotionally you claim to be moved by the story and other whatnot nonsense, you're still playing it with your pants down, and tissue box next to the monitor.

I can't stop but laugh at people who are "offended" about making fun of eroge.
Who do you think I am? I've LIVED eroge history, I think I'm entitled to make light of humor at one of my favorite hobbies.

Porn game, huh Not gonna take the bait...

When I watched this series I got the same sinking 'ulcer' feeling as KGnE and True Tears. So I know the series won't disappoint me- in terms of quality, at least, since I know the plot already...

A few people I know who played the game have a worse opinion on Yuki compared to Touya; Depending on which route you choose, she will do completely opposite things to Touya Funny enough they all played the game when it was released, maybe that's why they have such a low opinion about Yuki. Romance erogal with such 'unfaithful'(???) felmale character was an oddity at that time.

And the random events generator was in a class by itself, apparently.

Finally those 'rankings' of characters are just for laugh. The era you grew up in plays a large part in deciding the ranks. For example, there is a very infamous '3 or 4 worst JRPG female characters' ranking online. However, chances are you will only recognize one of the characters (Rinoa from FF8). The rest of the games came out much too early for most people to 'appreciate' the crushing feeling the player gets.

Relax I wasn't going to get all that into it with you just because you used a label I personally don't approve of for at least "porn" games like White Album or Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. You're free to call them what you want as long as you're not intentionally trying to piss someone off.

Hence why I figured you meant no offense by it cause the feeling I had(especially because of earlier statements from you in this topic) was because I thought you've been playing these types of games longer than I have old man.

But sir I am offended by your other statement. hmph I can't speak for other people but I do not play these games with my pants down and a box of tissue next to me.

Opps, its Toya, not Takaaki. I messed up on the names. White Album came out before I started my path on anime So I never played it (why play something when others are ready to spoil all there is to know to you...forcibly )

Yeah that is a game spoiler. I was already being very vague on details, but I suppose I should put a spoiler around it just in case...
