I thought this was a PS2 game, the graphics really suck on the xbox,
have you seen FF13 on PS3 now thats a real RPG with next gen. graphics.

I doubt the xbox has anything to do with how it looks. It's just the art style they chose to go with. Very simular to the previous Tales games.

To begin with, I have been playing the 3-60 for several months already, and over the course of 10 games give or take, I have never seen the elusive so-called "bad graphics" before.

Hard to imagine such a mythical creature .

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
P.S - I find the tune for "Ring a bell" to be extremely catchy. I like it alot the lyrics gave me slight chills as well
More reason to look forward to the game for me !
Comparison screenshots of the "bad" 360 graphics and the "godly" PS3 graphics or it never happened.
Oh, and I'm not sure why you're trying to compare a cel-shade game with a realistic 3D game. Totally different art style. It's like, trying to compare a 2D girl with an RL girl.
What? Despite me being a bit of a ps3 fanboy ,
I have to admit that vesperia looks gorgeous . Its a bit unfair to compare the graphics of the tales series and FF series . The tales series has generally more of an anime-like direction as compared to FF .
From the recent Tales of Hearts conference, might be of interest to some people here.
Quote:
- Mothership titles will be on the Wii, if I didn't understand it incorrectly.
- Nakahara Mai (Estelle, Vesperia) has been playing Tales game since she was a high school student.
- 2008 winter, Tales of Heart. Production I.G for anime movie, Shirogumi for full 3D movie. You can either pick to play which movie, or it's gonna be two games, one with anime and the other with the 3D.
- Battle system "Combination Aerial LMBS", if you meet certain condition(s), characters that aren't in the battle can join in too.
- Theme song by DEEN. Title "Towa no Ashita" or "Eien no Asu" or change the words around between those. Not sure without kana.
- Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology will probably be out around March, 2009.
- Will probably be using the same system (as the base, anyways) as the previous title.
- 50 Tales characters in this one.
- New jobs introduced, which includes a class that can dual wield. In-game movie. Powered up hi-ougi.
- Theme song by rock band "BACK-ON". Apparently the 5 members of that band are all Tales fans. What the hell. xD
- Tales of the Abyss anime, October, 2008.
- Currently, the anime's planned upto 26 episodes.
Wha? If you have an English language console the demo should be in English.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Japanese voicing, but the problem comes when I have no idea what's being said/shown
I recall the Tales of Innocence announcement came after Vesperia I recall, we already had some teaser trailers for Vesperia when everyone was still speculating what console it was for.
Nope, Innocence was announced at Tales day this time last year, and they said the core platform for Tales games would be the DS. Cue rage from people like me who love our home consoles. Then at... the Jump Festa event? Near the end of the year they finally announced Vesperia, followed by the first trailer going on the Tales Channel site on Christmas day.
Chaos2Frozen - You're positive you have an English console, right? Because that's just... bizzare. Countless English fans have downloaded it on their English consoles and not ended up with the Japanese version. But hey, you could always watch an English playthrough and learn the dialogue off-by-heart, heh.
Maybe they just meant 2008 was the year of the DS so 2009 will be the year of the Wii?
Either way guess that makes Vesperia and ToS2 Namco Bandai's illegitimate children in a weird way...
Well as far as I know, I'm pretty sure that I have the english console... Or at least, nothing has challenge that thinking until now
IF you're asking for the exact place, then I don't know, I left the details to my brother. All I can say is that it's not from some shady under hand dealer...
Or at least, it wouldn't be $800 is it were from a shady underhand dealer...
D:
Why is my sucky summary being quoted left and right!? >_<
Oh by the way it's not Tales of Hearts conference, it's just a general Tales lineup for the next year conference.
...Ah, you probably have the "Asian" version, in which case, yea, you'll be playing that demo in Japanese. You...probably also won't be able to play the NA version of the game, due to Namco and their love for region lock.
Hmmm... That's weird, the last game I've played from Namco on the 360 is Ace Combat 6, I assumed it was the NA version because of the english dub...
It still has the Japanese voicing, but it doesn't come with English subtitles for that option =_=
Nah, you've got an Asian console. You will be able to play the game in English though, just grab the English-language Asian version (this one - http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-...a-70-2vz7.html) as opposed to the Japanese-language one.
