Kubo's messed up Gin now. That shitter Ichigo (who could barely scratch Ulquiorra with a masked getsuga) makes bankai Gin bleed...

a 13 km length bankai is being wasted. FFS, Kubo should prove Gin is a genius e.g. he should flash step 12 km away and be able to pinpoint reiatsu then snipe with his bankai or something. Now THAT would suit Gin's personality very well. Needs more genius, less Ichigo-fail-killing-spear.

ps: The retraction and extension of his bankai should also be god-speed.

Gin doesn't have hierro, and Bankai doesn't change that.

No, seriously, I hope there is more to it, then this chapter shows us. I mean a 13km sword is just not good to handle. It's basically worse than his Shikai.

Why does actually everyone expect Gin to be so strong? I mean, how has he proven his strength? So far, we saw how he killed the 5th seat of the 5th squad as a child, he easily threw Ichigo out of the gates of Seireitei, but Ichigo wasn't very strong yet at that time, and he fought a stalemate against Toushirou (and it actually seemed Toushirou had the upper hand).

Really, I never thought Gin's powers were omghax. It wouldn't surprise me if Gin turns out to be weaker then some of the Espada.

i honestly was hoping to see that. the dudes been smiling since his first appearance and usually those type of characters go super saiyian three mode once they stopped smiling. then again, shounen mangas aren't exactly jaw-dropping when it comes to subplots within the story. the last time i opened my mouth say "what. the. fuck?" in a shounen story was when goku turned his hair yellow for the first time

there are only two shinigami that aizen recruited.
aizen had no choice but to include tousen (or kill him, but that would've been boring) because he was immune to illusions.
aizen handpicked gin.

thats why i expect gin to be a bit more than what we've seen so far.

Aizen could only deal with Yama with WW. If he didn't have WW, he would have been pwned.

we don't know enough about isshin and his backgroud to accurately rank his power like that.
there are some theories that would allow for him to be pretty darn powerful.
hell, we still don't even know enough about aizen to logically explain why he is so powerful (especially pre-hogyouku).

as for aizen accounting for isshin's interference, the fight isn't over yet. they've only gotten a handful of pages so far. aizen can still pull a troll on isshin.

The fact that Aizen didn't plan on Isshin's arrival should tell you that Isshin is a real threat. Isshin is obviously stronger than you anticipated him to be.

You can't logically place Isshin anywhere yet, since he hasn't ever had a chance to show his strength. Its very possible that Isshin is actually stronger than Aizen, and maybe even Yama, depending on how old Isshin actually is.
