I was really sad for Vanessa in episode 22, I'm still unsure about how this series is going to end, but it's one of my favorites

. The ost is amazing, I want it so bad!

While this could arguable be a good or bad thing, I had rather root for the goodness since they all set the given mood fairly, or say -extremely- well. IMO

The vocal aspect is what gives her music the edge IMHO, most of her more memorable compositions are brought to life by the powerful singing . Not just in Madlax, Noir and Xenosaga II but her .Hack, Aquarian Age and Blood the Last Vampire OSTs all have examples of the 'nonsense language'...

After watching 21/22, I got to thinking "What if it wasn't Madlax who killed Margrets' father, but instead it was Margret who killed Madlaxs' father?" That would explain why Madlax has the dogtags. A person like Margrets' father being in the army just dosn't fit right, either...

well, since the former Madlax was referred to as Colonel Burton, then indeed he was the head of Burton family. Now I guess the question is whether Margaret is the true daughter of the Burton family.

Wow, episode 23 confirmed at least one very important thing,

Q: what kind of an anime is MADLAX?
A: MADLAX is a *drumrolls* HAREM SHOW!!!!

I now believe the very purpose of this series is to show how every single characters appearing in it end up falling for the Madlax character, its namesake.

Anyone else wondering what is SSS doing all this time? I mean, I think this guy is still all mysterious and I wonder if he'll come up in the last second or something? Maybe Richard Burton didn't die (it seems it's quite hard to die when you are Madlax) and became SSS?

oh, and anyone noticed the green moon? now we have RGB, the three base colors

Spoiler: Rimelda is still alive, so that should satisfy all you Rimelda fans out there. Madlax is still kicking ass as usual. Oh, did I mention that Mr. Friday is Margaret's Father!!!?? Oh and Elenor is still alive as well, although next episode, it seems that she WILL die!!! In any case, this episode was interesting. Too bad I know only a little Japanese. About Mr. Friday being Margaret's father, can't offer too much information considering I know little Japanese, but it seems that Margaret and Madlax are now going in total opposite directions from what they use to be....

(Friday Monday's daughter with the info from EP 23.) We still need an explanation on how Friday initially opened the gateway since he doesn't have "the talent." (Edit: Or does he?) This might explain that scenario.

Spoiler: Swift boat! Heh. Up until this point, I had just found Friday creepy. Now I want to wring his fing neck, that bastard! Now Margaret is super-scary, and I find myself absolutely beside myself with anger over it. Well, okay, in a "I'm really just watching a show on TV" sort of way... But still, a tragic downfall is all the more tragic when you believe the victim is innocent. And the lingering pauses as Vanessa's death sinks in; even after rewatching the flower scene in 22 a bunch of times to try and come to terms with it, I still misted up. Madlax thinks she knows who she is, but she's not entirely sure of the connection. Just like the rest of us!!! We're all being led to suspect something, but there's got* to be some sort of surprise waiting for us. "The love within the insanity"? Hmm. And the preview? Eleanor looks like the key to the next one; and I'm not so certain she's dying in that spoiler; I think she's getting a dose of the Taluta... But in another shot she's kicking serious ass. Go Eleanor! The only problem with that episode releasing so early, is that it may be over a week before I get to see the next one.

Maybe the original Madlax is Margaret's father but was shot by the little girl we know as Madlax now. He wanted to protect Margaret from Friday Monday so he also borrowed power from that place and created the girl Madlax? I hate this possibility because then the girl Madlax and Margaret would be father-daughter. -_- Anyway, still don't know why Madlax shot Richard Buton in the first place.
