So the decision was to let Aizen live even though he tried to "murder" everyone in soul society and the real world. But when Rukia committed an infraction equivalent to a illegal worker, she gets execution?

This is a very poorly designed universe that is hard to empathize with. Suspended belief can only go so far.

I would like to suspect this reasoning is that no one was capable of killing Aizen since Ichigo couldn't actually do it. Even w/out his zanpaktou, Aizen is extremely dangerous.

Well you do have to first recall that rukia's execution was a plot by Aizen; Central 46 was already dead i think... Aizen himself i believe was the one who said her execution was an unusually extreme punishment. Second i think the whole point of sealing Aizen was because urahara did not believe he could be killed; so execution might not even BE an option

That last shot of Ichigo and Rukia is pretty nice. I think he did them justice. But then, his strength has always been character sketches and not story writing.

Aizen's smug smile pisses me off in that first pic though. Isn't he supposed to be trapped inside some hado?

I haven't had the chance to read the chapter yet but I gotta say it's not looking good. Chances of me actually continuing to read this after the 2 week break are pretty low at this point.

Looking at the different spoilers, it's kinda unclear if Aizen is really being sent to Hell or just being locked in an underground prison at this point.
