Well, Han Megumi and Ise Mariya were buying a doujin manga of HxH at akiba when they were high schooler.

Their otaku talks in preview of ant arc proved that.

A decent episode, not the strongest of this arc so far. And Hisoka really made his moves too at the end as well.

togashi (and miura) are both the best and worst mangaka ever.

This was a pretty good episode for GIF-able faces that's for sure.

Illumi is really one messed up motherf*cker. His plan to remain in Killua's heart forever was truly disturbing. Even more disturbing that Hisoka going through all his options.

btw if this was a common author of WSJ, he may stretch this Illumi vs Killua plot to the end, since it's easier to make story.
Though I don't know that Togashi is so great or simply he doesn't have to prolong since he is a author who can rest as he wishes.
But HxH is clearly better than One Piece.

I was expecting the series ending. It won't do to have it end smack dab in the middle of an arc. And the ending they are currently heading is the perfect point to end it.

Guys, there are dozens of Gon x Killua doujins out there - maybe hundreds. This is Japan, get over it.

I find comparing the psychoses of Hisoka and Illumi this week to be fascinating. Illumi is more "conventionally" crazy - delusional and megalomaniacal. Hisoka is more of a true psychopath. He's calm and quite connected to reality - he just happens to be driven by a thoroughly venal set of priorities.

I recently read a pretty good fanfiction of a Gon x Killua x Hisoka pairing. For a pairing that included Hisoka it was quite tame.

This really makes me wish we could get a side story/spin off of Hisoka's past.

I'm disappointed Bushidora and Teradein were killed off so easily. They seemed like promising characters. We didn't even get to see Bushidora in action. I guess this goes to show Illumi and Hisoka are on a completely different levels than regular hunters. Not that we didn't know that already.

Hisoka and Illumi are both extremely twisted, but I'd say the most dangerous of the two is Hisoka because he's impossible to predict. He decides who lives or dies on a whim.

And Killua highlights that Alluka isn't evil, she's just the wish-granter. Rather, it's the selfish desires of the people behind the wishes that are the problem. Y'know, I actually kinda liked Teradein's group (Loupe's a weasel though). They were working towards a more clean Association and knew there were problems. Shamed they messed with the wrong people. I guess as long as you're strong, you get to do (almost) whatever you want in the HxH world. And lol@Morel saying they were too weak to take the Seirin name.

BOOO Cutie Beauty (Cutie Honey reference?) is wearing a top that looks so similar to Sailor Moon. It's more obvious in the manga where it's in white instead of anime purple. Tsundere Biscuit This may sound like another stupid question, but ever wondered why they use a stuffed panda in place of Ging? His sign is the boar. Wouldn't it be more fitting if they had a boar doll instead? Or they were just lazy and used whatever they had. Saccho and Norton were holding their name cards as if they were actual name plates in the manga Linne Horsdoeuvre was speaking her peace in the manga saying she wants Netero back to life to be the chairman once again. In the anime she just falls asleep. --- Spoiler for Some professionals are they: Hisoka still wants to troll Illumi Only to be disappointed that he can't --- Spoiler for Transformation: Riders High: Perfect Girl Evolution --- Spoiler for Translation clarification: In the Crunchy subs Pariston says "They're so easy to understand." In Viz's translation he says "So easy to manipulate." Which one is more accurate? What a twist! Dude, you need therapy! "And you as well!" In a weird contrast, the anime shows Tsubone's nail-less fingers but the manga shows the other side of the hand so you don't see them. In case you forgot Killua is the undisputed king of death stares And if you thought Illumi couldn't look any more creepier than how he is already... --- Spoiler for Teradein's last call: Looking at this panel we can see that Teradein is communicating with Morel using Skype (or whatever they have in their world) instead of a phone call like in the anime. Though I'm not sure if they were really talking to eachother or Teradein was watching a prerecorded video because if they were talking to each other Morel would warn him to look behind him or stop talking to a dead body! --- And Leoreo is in second place! ------------ A better episode than what we had before with better pacing and more suspenseful moments, and fixed some issues from the manga (mainly the last scene) 8.5/10 One more volume, nine chapters left, and five episodes to go.

Have a feeling things won't be good for hunters if he wins. So Leorio actually made it to the last 4 candidates! Seems like the final election is gonna be a marathon.. Leorio was all about Gon. Still, his unusual speech got through to the voters. Killua & Alluka finally made it to the hospital. This episode was all about the elections.
