Plot summary : The story revolves around a beautiful girl named Euphrogin who regretfully is also a zombie. Euphrogin wakes up in an underground archive of a university, where a maid named Arma tells her, "Madam, kill the students and retrieve the 'Secret Stone.'"

Note : Kadokawa's Sneaker Bunko imprint will publish the first two volumes of the light novel series this week. Ikehata also wrote the Blood+ novels.

the plot summary doesn't give much insight of the story. What's the story about? and I haven't watch the pv yet.

Some of the still scenes in that PV near the end looked kind of derpy (black-haired girl had a pancake face in some shots), and the character designs aren't exactly anything to write home about, but I get the feeling the story might shine through and I really like dark-toned themes to series like this so I'm willing to ignore any visual faults it may have.

I guess the Zombie fad in the anime/manga industry is now equivalent to Vampire one in U.S. movie industry. huh

I think there should be a sub-forum to place the series that were officially announced but after a full year no further announcement was made. Of course if they claw their way out of their graves with a new official announcement they should be moved up to upcoming series.

woah the new pv looks soo much better glad they revived this. and looks like the studio is gonzo idk if gonzo was the original studio

It's indeed Gonzo, but it got bought in 2013 by a different company. Glad to see some old studio veterans still involved in this.
