i wont right much about it cause most of it is fighting and adventure its really good

not one ep without a fight. has story as well tho but at least it has fighting on each ep.

worth the watch.

hmm another action...

all i can think of right now tbh

oh samurai champloo has fighting to.

but i suggest one piece

Full Metal Alchemist - very actiony, quite a few fights especially towards the end
Tenjou Tenge - basically all fighting... and fanservice

Cowboy Bebop
One Piece

No specific order, Other than Naruto...It's any action fans biggets dream. ^^

I agree with the above posts, add to those
Hunter x Hunter: naruto type shounen
X TV: Plenty of sword fighting, magical powers, don't watch the movie, it sucks.
Berserk: Plenty of sword fighting, and great if you like huge swords. Don't expect closure at the end though.
Scrapped Princess: a great plot + great action. Sword fighting, magic, and mecha. Quite a mix, isn't it

As for the newest season check out Bleach, which has the potential to be the next naruto. It's about a guy who can see spirits and one day evil spirits called Hollows attacked him, and he had to become a death god to protect his loved ones. Again great if you like huge swords.

Elfen Lied - blood.. nothing more to say
GANTZ - dead vs alien (more blood)
Grappler Baki - pure hand to hand fighting
Hajime no Ippo - boxing
GunGrave - Mafia type anime / then undead people gunslinging
Tenjou Tenge - hand to hand fighting
Shura no Toki - has the story of many famous martial artist/samurai
Kurau Phantom Memory - special beings/ persuit
Samurai Champloo - samurai fighting
ROD OVA + TV (Read or Die) - special powers
Blue Gender - mecha vs alien
Gundam SEED/Destiny - mecha
Tokyo Underground - special powers
Samurai 7 - samurai vs mecha

and of course the ones mentioned already

Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust- some of the finest animation and action you'll ever see, and very original. A dunpeal (half vampire, half human) bounty hunter tracks a vampire to retrieve an abconded girl. Mutants and competing bounty hunters are thrown in his way, all of which very unique. The setting is creative as well. A great movie, I definitely consider it a must-own.

Ninja Scroll- Sets my standard for action anime. It's kinda old, yet still visually stunning. Ninja's with bizarre special techniques square off.

Read or Die OVA- A girl with the ability to control paper fights evil clones of historic geniuses over rare books. Needless to say, it's very original.
