Noitamina, Production IG, Josei, slice of life, drama. That has me sold straight away. Also the fact that Honey and Clover is one of my top favourite animes.

Only way this could get any sweeter if they get Tatsuyuki Nagai to direct it.

I wonder who will direct it.
I have my fingers crossed for Naoyoshi Shiotani. It would be awesome to see him finally helming a series rather that having his talent wasted on some mediocre crap. I think that the manga really suits his style.

I rather Ken'ichi Kasai, but that's just my personal preference . However, I don't think this will happen considering most of his recent works were for J.C Staff.

Great news! This is a great manga. And I can see it being a great anime too.

Turning into anime? That's good news.

I guess I'll watch time to time.

http://pictoria.jp/cgi-bin/source3/No_0040.jpg Here's some designs.

The director is the one of Tales of Vesperia.

Director: Kanta Kamei
Ani Director: Tasuku Yamashita
Series Composition: Suguru Kishimoto

Sadly, no Shiotani even this time.

Designs so far look fairly accurate. It will be interesting to see how they animate some of the manga's signature faces though.

And that's if they carry them over.

so since the manga is ending in April i'm assuming they'll be able to stick to it completely right?

Whoa! The manga's ending ALREADY? Talk about sudden. I really need to get the rest of the volumes when they come out here.

And speaking of the anime...I hope they cast Matsumoto Tamaki as Rin. She's a great child actress and she's been getting a bit of hype lately.

Bumping the thread for the cast announcement (from this month's Feel Young):

Daikichi: Tsuchida Hiroshi
Rin: Matsuura Ayu

I don't think I've heard any of Daikichi's seiyuu's roles. I'm mostly interested in Rin's seiyuu, though: I can only find very little information about her, but it looks like she played the role a 5-year old in a drama (Kimi Hannin Janai yone?) in 2008. Meaning we're really getting a child actress for her voice, I assume - good news.

I've heard Tsuchida Hiroshi in Honey & Clover and Natsume Yuujinchou (along with a few other shows), though not enough to form an opinion for his role as Daikichi. Either way i'm sure the decision will be a right one.

Hell no. This is an adaption of a josei manga aimed at adult females and housewives...

I'm really excited for the anime! Looking forward to see it. I want to watch something unique from this genre. Hope that there aren't too much fillers.
