I stand by my statement. Maya is in fact a fully fledged character with a distinct role. Since the show seems to focus more on the trio, the writers probably thought he had to be in the final arc, so they did the most logical thing and swapped him with a character playing a similar kind of role.

Not sure what the bonus case has to do with anything. Edgeworth being alive is obvious from the moment he was half-assedly presented as 'dead'. Franziska is even kind enough to spell it out for the player halfway through the circus arc. (At the end of which he actually appears on screen)

Episode 22:

Been following this series still. While I wasn't too interested in the latest case, that revelation has my interest now about Oboro.

Oh NOW you bring the psyche locks in a way no one but people having already plkayed the game will understand it at all.
My conclusion of this scene is that everything related to the Magatama has thus happened off screen.

Or they realized how the Magatama becomes more and more involed and is needed if they want to make more seasons of the game and quickly added the locks

Why? I mean, yes, the visual of the psyche locks means more with it, but as I said before, it's just a gameplay thing, like Danganronpa's truth bullets.

Engarde got cornered and stopped his little act. That's the story. Magically sensing he was hiding something is superfluous.

so finally he's defending a person who's culprit or at least accomplice and he have to win or win because maya is in trouble, more like is phoenix who is cornered, never thought that he was going to defend a culprit and that every of his clients are innocent?, well he needs to believe that they are but this can't go anywhere, well at least it just an accomplice so he can win.

The locks are just a little nod to the game. No reason to raise a stink over it.

You know, I'm fine with most of the changes in this show. But to open the bear just by pushing in the tail? Come ON.

So it comes to an end, and hopefully only for now. As much as the anime fudged and shortened the elements and details of the games, or whether our memories of said games have sullied over time, I still feel that the anime was enjoyable to watch and I will certainly miss it until they animate the next games.

As for this episode, I liked the radio's antics throughout the trial.

Finished the show today...

Well, there were ups and downs. I have to admit though, the final trial with the radio and the conclusion was pretty amusing. Justice delivered to the culprit with him being caught guilty. What a moment!

Overall, I'd say this series was somewhat average. Really wish it got a bigger budget as well.

It was an amusing ride for sure but I doubt the show will ever be classified as anything better than 'not bad'.

At least the Spirit of Justice is still with us regardless of the anime.

Well, looky what we have here!

it's a pity though that they only remixed a few tracks, including

Objection - Phoenix Wright 2001
Pursuit - Cornered (see above)
Cross Examination - Allegro 2001
Recollection - DL-6 Incident
Steel Samurai
Reminiscence - Steel Samurai's Ballad
Recollection - Elementary School Trial (it's an extended version)
Confess the Truth 2001 (it's an extended version)

It's possible that I missed one or two, but these should be all.

And I want to see the third game adapted. To properly wrap up the original trilogy in anime form... yea right, as if that were the reason! OK, I confess, it's only because I really want to see Godot animated and voiced.

It feels good actually knowing the source materialz for a series for once before watching the adaptation and being able to read the posts. It sounds like the anime ended with Justice For All.

Really now? I was not expecting this to be a thing. The anime wasn't bad per se, as a whole, but there were many bad things about it.
