Cats' post above yours has all the info you need when it comes to how to use clickable thumbnails. (pics included)

In short, All you really need to do is copy/paste the thumbnail for forums code and you are done.

You don't need a account...
And even if you did, it's FREE.

You presume too much. How am I suppose to know what this "first site" is...
But anyway. You can either:
 • Save the image to your computer... then upload it to imageshack.
 • Right click the image and copy the image address. Then use IS's upload via URL.

On Photobucket you can upload something like 40 images at once (maximum). On Imageshack you can upload hundreds and unlike Photobucket you don't have to select each one, you drag select and you're done. Also, Photobucket limits you to images of 800 x 600 last time I checked, while on Imageshack you can upload anything.

There's also the thumbnail trick, which Imageshack does pretty well...

I know it sounds odd but are we allowed to start new topics? its just that every single discussion seems to be contained in one uber mega blog.

Yes, you are allowed to start new topics. Starting topics in series discussion forums has been limited in for the most part all of them, the exception being the really old ones. (they've been limited because of poinless fanclub threads in forums like Shuffle!)

When creating a new topic in any of the other forums where you can, make sure:
 • The topic doesn't exist already
 • It's not flamable or otherwise racist or inapropriate.
 • It's not a yes/no or option x, y, z kind of topic. (polls also fit in here)

To create a topic go to a forum such as General Chat for example and on top right corner of the screen you will see a button labeled "new thread".

And please MAKE SURE the thread doesn't already exist. The Search Tool is your friend in this.

Also be very careful in titling a thread (look at other titles) --- the eternal embarrassment of misspelling a word will haunt you forever. Also, a vague thread title is likely to be ignored.

You use tags. If the link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jpLPcY51Tc, then you do .

I didn't know about that Youtube tag actually. That's quite an interesting feature.

I suppose you learn new things from videos where behind the scenes Billy is probably being smacked around and tortured for his upcoming forum crimes. They use him for the video, and then kill him for ignorance..

We all know how it happened... Billy saw the video, and he STILL made that New Thread about Steam being the big one111! We all know it's true.

(I have to say though, I'm amazed I never noticed this topic sooner. >_>.. Maybe because it's a sticky? *Cough*)
