Episode 110-111 Discussion

Welcome to the episode discussion thread about this week's upcoming episode which Vicious, Dranz or I will try to post this thread every Wednesday, since it’s the day the episode airs in Japan.

For the people who don't know about the new spoiler tag rules, Spoilers are NOT allowed in this forum except in [Manga] thread and only there.

You MUST use spoiler tags when dealing with the episode until an actual credible sub appears. Discussions in this thread can only involve the current and previous episodes. Members who are caught including events that take place after the current episode in their post will be handed a ban.

Anyway this is what you should discuss in this thread:

1. Expectations of the episode if not aired or if you haven't seen it yet.
2. Announcements of which fansub groups have released the episode regardless if it is a RAW or Subbed.
3. Your comments on the episode if you have seen it both RAW and Subbed.

Just to make it clear there is to be no making new topics about the above things I have just showed you. I will close them down because I made this thread so all the posts regarding this topic will be in one place.

Furthermore, I'd like to ask people to let me, and only me, do the Episode Discussion threads every week. Why? You may ask. Mainly, to avoid confusions and 10+ threads of eager people doing the episode threads. So, please, don’t make episode discussion threads without Vicious's Dranz's or my permission.

So there you have it, just to summarize and add new tidbits of rules:

There is to be no flaming each other, no posting links that allow others to download the licensed Manga or the anime raw episode, no spoilers for future events of the Manga that take place beyond this episode, no annoying questions asking for seeds, ZERO unnecessary spoilers, and try to keep it on topic.

Well as a manga reader that just got back into the anime (and not having a good understanding of spoken Japanese), they are doing a pretty good job transalating it to animation ^_^ Cant wait too see some of the stuff further along!

Thoough nothing will happen this episode, I have a feeling the last part of the trailer in 109 will be the end of ep 110.

But yet, I still can't wait

Wouldnt it kinda like give away, evrything that happens this episode, so that when you watch the subbed version it will be like.... not as good?

not a bad episode at all

Unlike previous double-headers this one doesnt have much if any fighting in it.

But, they had to get through a lot of story line stuff to set us up for a battle next week I guess. I would have liked to have seen more of the Jounin fight, but we cant expect them to show all their techniques before the main characters fight them can we.

I also thought it was funny how Kiba thought he might have closed the power gap between himself and naruto. Considering how much improvement naruto has done since kiba last fought him, thats not very likely

another nice touch is how sakura completely ignores the other elite genin and shikamaru when she ask naruto to bring sasuke back, right in front of them she says naruto is the only one who can do it. I guess that qualifies as her finally recognizing him. (well, he has already beaten kiba and neji in tournaments, so its not really that surprising that someone might think that, its just the first time shes admitted as much to him.)

The Jounins were mostly there to give us an idea how tough these sound shinobi are.

I liked how this episode basically started off the search mission and was pretty faithful to the manga, action wise (cant understand japanese :P). When the group is jumping through trees, the animation team seems to have done a pretty good job in potraying that better then previous episodes. Seems like we got a good animation team for this arc . Also, I didn't like how the episode ended, one explosion scene thats supposed to be a cliffhanger, it isn't done right at all. Otherwise, looking forward to the next episode and the fansub for this one.

Animation did seem better in that first few scenes (e.g. see spoiler). Character details and drawings were done a bit more carefully. Episode 111, or the second half, aside from the forest jumping scenes looked the same.

Damn good ep. but some drawings are bad like sasuke he didnt look like sasuke. Kawaii Akamaru and WOW Shizune looks good in a flak jacket

P.S ending didnt look good it shoulve been like naruto hearing an explosion and shocked not flying shika and neji

Yeah he explained why everyone needs to be in that position like kiba on the front coz he and akamaru has keen sense of smell
