No it doesn't. It needs a bit of volume yes, but I feel the English dub was actually pretty reasonable.

I prefer the Japanese dub obviously, but hearing that the English side of things turned out great was nice to hear. If you guys have not purchased the BD yet, I suggest you do.

Well I think the reason people have a problem with English dubbing is because its usually sub-par, to the point that its distracting.
In fact, I've only seen one anime (Cowboy Bebop) that has good dubbing.

So most English-speaking anime watchers just avoid it and not waste time buying/downloading dubbed material.
But I'll agree somewhat that people shouldn't just blindly criticize dubs and dub-watchers.

Clearly the proper voice for Goofy should be the Japanese one thank you very much.

But seriously English dubs have been getting better to the point where they are pretty much on par acting wise with the Japanese ones. It helps that the English scripts have been getting more fluid and less full of Engrishisms as well. Also helpful is that since the start of the new millennium companies have pretty much completely stopped trying to Americanize everything and to just bullshit a completely random script across based on what is happening on screen and sometimes not even.

That said I usually still prefer to watch movies and TV shows in the language they were originally intended for authenticities sake, but when it comes to shows like Gundam which often feature characters from all kinds of nationalities other than Japanese I could go either way. I mean the show even has a song with English lyrics in it's soundtrack, albeit sung by a Japanese woman with a noticeable accent:

They are fully willing to go international on this one and I say it pays to support the effort by supporting both audio dubs.

I get the impression that the OST contains songs for episode 2 as well. There are tracks for Full Frontal and Captain Otto (and a 'spoiler' for Audrey, but who'd be spoiled?), so I assume we'll see more of a focus on them?

All we know for sure is that the Mineva in Zeta was the real one, she remembered Char playing with her (fufu) and all. I also think it's likely that Haman told her to lie at the end of ZZ so that the federation would leave her alone, but I guess we can't be 100% certain about that. Still, I don't really remember any evidence about her being a fake.

I seem to remember Char responding to that with "Oh, so you can remember stuff from when you were 2?" The implication is that she was told to say that.

Of course, CASVAL DEIKUN set out to destroy the Zabi family. However, for 2 wars, he was nowhere to be seen. All people knew were Char Aznable and select few knew Quattro Bajeena (...who quickly transformed into Char). Even when he was the politician Casval Deikun, everbody was still calling him Char.

To that extent, even if our current Mineva is some redhead fake, by this point she's now the real thing because everybody has been calling her the real thing. She might be...I dunno...Milly Ronah, long-lost daughter of the soon-to-be-powerful Ronah family, but now she's Mineva Zabi. Just like how her uncle is Char Aznable (he's her uncle by association, right?)

People keep missing this key point -

Only the ZZ Mineva is fake. When this revelation came to light in the last episode, Bright said that "it is safe to assume that the real Mineva has been missing since the end of the Gryps War".

So the Zeta Mineva is real. As shown in the anime ending to the PS1 Zeta game, Char had taken her after the end of the Gryps War to a secluded location. So Haman had to find a replacement to retain power during the first Neo Zeon war.
