Jak - That's nothing special. Unless you're living an ideal life, just about every human being has considered commiting suicide, self-harm, or doing something socially unacceptable. But really, unless you're living a life of torment, please stop wangsting. Look at the people who steal and kill just to get food. Do they keep going? Then so should you.

Anyway, shouldn't we stop taking about this? This is the fanfic forum, not the psych forum.

Once again, in behalf of Daniel E (who is absent)

You don't casually offer to cook for someone unless you're fond of them.
But it's still a closed circle :/

hence why so many extras are highlighted in ST

Anyway, I'm not sure I can follow with his depression development.

Don't need to, he wasn't a main character anyway. My highlight is that no matter if the world is cruel on you, you'll get that happy ending eventually if you don't give up.

Got a nice job, reunited with his beloved and spend the rest of his life peacefully.

Senpai's good in advanced tech and I can do plot and characters; along with basic tech if needed.

Example: How do you think the OC's you have can legitimately sneak into ISA? The only person to do that are Tabane's golems and Madoka; and they tripped the alarms before even landing.

Jak needs stratos for the tie-in issues I think.

Even side characters should have detailed backgrounds *huff*

It's actually tech 1st, story tie-in 2nd.

So, what are your thoughts on this?
Spoiler for Reflex Armor:

And how they'll be able to get into IS Academy for their Recon, my guys got some things up their sleeves.

Everyone is related, usually by one OC as bridge.

OC that wasn't really elaborated but with clear personality and role, rather than random named character.

Spoiler for Reflex Armor:
Misnomer

Rather than calling it armor, better calling it 'System' or 'Frame', since putting them outside silverback doesn't make sense.

It's not something you slap on the armor that's already there.

The Reflex Armor is an "energetic" upgrade that actually infuses with the armor that's already on there.

Think of it this way:

Melt the armor down so an "Additive" can be mixed in while the armor is in a liquid like state. The "Additive" being the Reflex Armor upgrade. When the armor is shaped, then the additive sets in the armor itself; making it flexible.

Then the name is the end product hmm.

Carry on, what else do you need (tech wise)?

So it stiffens on impact? If not then flexibility is moot.

Also it's form fit now?

Basically you said it removes the need for bulky armor. Hence your guys have the armor without it sticking out. More or less skin tight if not then it kinda follows the contours of the body. Form fit...

Classified? The mechanism is important because I find the concept questionable. Then again I suppose it's not that important if you're willing to with hold information on something you're asking help for.

@ Tempest
Remind me of my old Sengoku Basara-like plot

Ichika is benign vassal of a small region, but lo behold if you DARE to trample on his people..

"The Reich shall burn" indeed.

The Silverback combat armor is kind of like that from the beginning. Similar to Tony Stark's Iron Man suit. Unlike the IS where it has oversized limbs and in some cases, you have to literally climb into it (Uchigane).

The Reflex Armor upgrade allows the Silverback to be more flexible.

Problem with flexible armor that doesn't stiffen on impact is that the armor won't break but will follow the bullet. The resulting impact will still send your guys either to the ER or the morgue. Take your pick really considering you're blocking IS grade shots with flexible physical armor.

The fact it's form fit makes it worse as it indicates it clings as close to the body as possible meaning a short distance for the force to travel before it smashes into the body. Not like air does anything but every Joule counts.
