Not really my thing, but since people are talking about him a lot, I decided to translate the entry about Hibiki's dad in the official site:

Spoiler for Not as bad as he seems...?:

Tachibana Hiroshi

Tachibana Hibiki's father. His maiden's name is Morisaki.

In the past, unoble to bear the stress he was exposed to both inside and outside home, he disappeared while leaving behind both his family and company.

After going away from Tokyo, he moved around all over the place while getting by doing part-time jobs.

During his time in Ibaraki, he was working in a gasoline station. At that place, maybe due a prank from fate, he met with the girl that used to play with his daughter - and also had a chance encounter with his daughter Hibiki.

His personality is cheerful and indulgent.
With a strong sense of responsibility and a positive thinking that pushes on to solving a problem--
..or so it was. Such vestiges of the past have now been lost, and he completely changed into someone with a frivolous fake-smile that avert his eyes from problems.

An yet, the reason why his meeting with Hibiki lead him into choosing to contact and face her even if just for appearances' sake, is maybe because the zeal from the past had been stirred in his heart?

Definitely enjoying the character songs so far. And yeah, listening to it that song definitely has that feel . At a certain point I thought I was listening to an OP for Railgun .

The second tracks have been interesting. Kirika's was just purely entertaining . Just very much a song that fits her. Chris's Kyoushitsu Key Holder was definitely a second track that fits her. A good softer and emotional song to match her action paced combat song.

Just when everything started to hype up for me, my jaw totally dropped when i see Dr Verz. Totally a bummer.

I wouldn't be too upset. He adds a bit of temporary drama, but I'd be surprised if he's a factor beyond next episode. As it is he's no longer much of a threat. Slow, and that arm can really only deal with something large that's fired directly at him. Chris can pull out her pistols and shoot out his knees in a few seconds .

Allows for Carol's escape and probably creates some drama for Chris to deal with next episode. That's probably it before he gets put back in a quiet cell. Those who love him can enjoy a brief visit while those who don't won't see him for long.

At least that's what I expect to see happen, could be wrong to be sure.

Now Dr.Evil I, I mean Dr.Ver is back and sided with Carol and imagine what worse,
I bet he made an more effective Anti-LiNKER to cause the Symphogear heroines trouble. I don't know if he has some but if he does...these girl are F up big time.lol

With only a few episodes to go? I think it's too late for them to suddenly throw Ver in as part of the last boss team. He doesn't know who Carol is and even if she knows who he is. I also doubt Carol would trust him beyond the level of using him as a distraction so she can escape with the last card she needs. I just think Carol has been carefully planning for a very long time and isn't likely to risk all those plans just for a possible benefit of using Ver.

In a sense this is probably the best case scenario for a Ver appearance for the main cast. It's late in the game, he's been in prison so the only weapons he has is the Nephilim arm....and his insanity. Unless this facility has been run by idiots (which I suppose is possible ) he shouldn't have any anti-linker or the immediate resources to make some.

I think bringing him in is interesting for the sake that Kirika and Shirabe have grown a lot since he last had any power over them.

I swear those almost look like creatures I should recognize... Kirika's makes me think of a Hippocampus (the critter from mythology, not the part of the brain), but Shirabe's... I'm not sure. There are too many possibilities.

Anyway... Geeze, reintroing Ver now... Unlike some folks (all the folks?) here, I'm not a fan, so I rather hope he dies quickly.

Hibiki... I understand that your father does not deserve to be given the time of day. But right now this is eating you up inside. You cannot be yourself when you're dealing with this.

This season is really doing some weird stuff with Hibiki's characterization. If they'd not done that mess in the first half and just had the father issues be the predominant problem, that would have worked out ok. There's always been something Hibiki has had to work through. But with all that thrown in together, it's felt like her character is jumping around all over the place. I'm not sure I know this Hibiki any more. She doesn't feel like the girl I really grew to love over the last two seasons.

I got their names reversed in what I wanted to say anyway. Shirabe's was the one that looked most familiar to me, not Kirika's. For some reason (I can't begin to imagine why ) I tend to think of them as being sort of a single being: Kirika&Shirabe. Shirabe&Kirika. They come together, they don't belong apart, so somehow I have trouble keeping their names as individuals straight, even though it's not like the show makes it confusing in any way.

True enough that the show basically treats them like a combo deal .

Hmm maybe to me Kirika's resembles some kind of lion? And I'd agree with the idea of Shirabe's looking like some kind of bull? The horns would make sense as aligning with her hairstyle .

I want to see what willl happen if Hibiki father touch the evil sword that Symphogears use to upgrade there Symphogear because I want to know what happen with someone which a lot of darkness touch that sword and is it just me or am I the only one who wanted to seen the Evil Sword powers when compete and because it look awesome but is it only going to be in the OP.

Is it just mean or is Hikibi father the most like Carol, just Carol is not a coward, if you look at it Carol was once kind like Hikibi Father but after seeing the Evil of human kind, you know killing her father and to what I seen so far about him is that he was helping people but the people still betrayel him and kill him, in the end all it take is one Evil Person to corrupt a Nation. Hikibi father seen to bet through that when people started theating his family and himself like they were evil just because his child live and how many people do you think just started theated Hikibi Family like crap just because other people were and this made be want to see Miku past who most likey was theated like crap because she still try being Hibiki friend after that mess and after Hikibi father running away like a Coward and how everyone theated him and his ex-family like crap, it made him become a bitter hating dougebag of a human and may him stop caring about other people and only himself.

The kanji can actually be read both ways, but Hiroshi is a more common Japanese name than Kou, so I just thought...

Welp! Each season there is uncomfortable shock value.

Season 1 Chris is a child rape victim that is molested still by Fine.

Season 2 Ver wanted Maria and the girls as his harem to repopulate the human race.

Season 3 Tsubasa is child born out of the family head cuckolding his son of his wife.

Well I suppose biologically it just makes her his half-sister....I don't want to think about this.

That old man is seriously screwed up in the head. I can't recall if he's said to be alive or not, but I hope never to see that creepy piece of work.
