This may not be Gundam but it still is a model kit. I just started practicing painting kits and I chose to practice first on this tank before going to a Gundam.
Spoiler for Images:
Hand-brushed Paint: Tamiya Acrylic What do you guys think? Any suggestions? And also, how do you properly apply decals? |

Anyway one of the main reasons old mecha, even really old school ones, not just Gundam, are still getting lots of support is because of Banpresto and Super Robot Wars.

God Gundam gained the detail of Master Grade gunpla, with the help of, KYOJI!!!!
If you enter that show expecting any pretense of reality, then you'll think it's a disaster. If you accept it for what it is, hot-blooded manliness, then you'll appreciate what it is. I am guilty of having had the former mindset when I first saw G Gundam, I enjoyed it much more when I had the right frame of mind.

He does it to promote his sponsors. The prizes of these contests are sponsored by IShop2Go. And other than custom contests, there really aren't many other Gunpla related contests that warrant a MG kit.
But if you watched his videos on SD Gundams, you can see that he paints his models. |

i never got that much into G gundam. i tried 4 eps but it didnt keep my attention. its just slightly bizare to me they need a special suit wit motion sensors. i can understand the concept behind them but its not my cup of tea.
@vandalier: is that an XN 00 raiser or a designer collour 00 with some xn raiser parts? |
