I kinda expected the mistaken couple thing and that was great to see, double fun when Oga follows up with the joke

The funniest thing tho to me was probbaly one of the more simple little jokes of the chapter is when Saotome wanted tot rade "students" I'd say a somewhat classic thing yet it still totally cracked me up

Bring on the biker/priestess chick!

Oga seemed really cool here, jinkies, the new chick is hot, the grandpa with Saotome is funny and ofc lots of Aoi !

Well, scooby-doo might not be that popular in Japanese because like we all know, what's popular in Japan and America can be quite different. It's not like they can't make Scooby Doo reference, it's just that it's unlikely that a Japan manga author make an America cartoon reference instead of an anime/manga reference. It could happen though since Hata-sensei(Hayate's author) once make a Prison Break reference in the manga.

Aoi's granfather is awesome and making subtly talkin about sexual intercourse with Saotome sensei. I wonder if the phrase "stradling the fence" implying that Aoi should decide what she should do with his love life. Because it is possible her powers hold back by her instability towards romance. She should either decide Oga or just solely focus on her training without thinking love stuff so that she can bring out her full potential. But also romance between her and Oga also brings out more power within her but it's not likely Oga is going to play lovely dovely role here. Anyways the most interesting part was for me the conservation between Saotome and Aoi's grandfather. Can't wait to see action scenes in the future chapters. Lastly that new teacher looks so badass. I hope her methods turns out to be unusual so that hilariousness of this training make this series more entertaining <3!

As far as WSJ Manga competitions every month are concerned, it tends to beat Medaka Box and sells around as well as Sket Dance these days.
However, it tends get beaten One Piece, Naruto, Bleach, Toriko, Nurarihyon no Mago, Hitman, Reborn, Gintama, and Bakuman. So for WSJ standards, it is average.

Even the cover page was worth a good old chuckle

Like how Oga knows when and how people should apologize when they do something wrong

And should be pretty insteresting to see Aoi's mother when the time comes, if Suiten isn't gonna be the flirty type towards Oga then maybe she will
