I guess Riza will have to be not only the one who protects his back, but she'll also be his eyes from now on. As for Al, I've nothing but mad respect for the guy. Such selflessness... it's commendable. Truly an emotionally intense chapter that was. But damn, I was saying we'd finally see what the plan with the human sacrifices, which we've been hearing about for years, was all about... looks like we'll have to wait another month for that. Dang indeed!

Because that's been Ed and Al's goal since the beginning of the entire story, and Al came this close to getting his body back, so wouldn't there be a way for Roy and Izumi, too? Or is Roy gonna be blind forever? Riza'll have a hard time, then... __________________

A battle between Wrath and Scar seems epic. Especially the "two nameless warriors part". It's a little disturbing to think that the inside of the Gate was his last sight. Couldn't it have been something a little cheerier if he had to lose his vision? I'm actually kinda hoping he won't get his sight back. Al definitely needs to get his body back, Ed can do without his (and given how he's replaced his limbs, wouldn't getting his original ones back be kind of painful? There's a lot of metal to rip out of him before his arm and leg will fit properly.), it would be nice if Izumi could recover her organs, but for Roy... not being able to see is so cruelly ironic that I can't help wanting it to stick. And if he were going to get his sight back, it would have to be soon, and getting it back so soon after losing it seems really cheap. Oh, and Al's decision to go back without his body... that was simply incredible.

I can't believe he's blind, though, I'm really upset about it. It's crazy how he lost vision in one eye in the original anime, but I wasn't expecting it in the manga, too. Sucks. I'm with Halad, I really hope there's a way everyone is able to get back what they lost, especially Al. =[ And, it's just like Al to give up his chance to get his body back, he has got to be the most selfless character in the entire series. If I were in his position, I honestly don't know what I would've done, I couldn't imagine choosing to be in an empty armor like that over being in your own flesh and bone, he's just amazing. Agreed that Scar vs. Wrath was unexpected, but I love the idea of the two nameless warriors battling to the death. __________________

It kept me shaking even after I finished it :D Spoiler for 102: I LOVE the idea of blind leader!Roy so please don't let him get his eyesight fully back! I guess I'm the only one who liked the eye patch of the first anime XDD I also hope that the ending would be bittersweet because I hate overly happy endings.

Wow, I'm starting to think nobody is going to get anything back, including Alphonse. This definitely seems like a final choice in the manga with the manga being so close to the end. I somehow had a feeling it was going to end up Scar vs. the Fuhrer although Bradley's line was very badass. Ever since Bradley said in the Ishbal rebellion "Where is your God" and Scar acting as God's "messenger", I find something poetic and ironic there. Wow I expected one but not both. Mustang got the worse off(other than Al I guess).
