Yeah, Raishin challenged Yaya then spent three days to set up various traps. He got her to run out of energy but she accidentally fell down a cliff - he risked his life to save her from the fall and got horribly injured. He also figured that Yaya wanted to be treated like a human and not as an automaton. Thus Raishin calls her his partner (instead of automaton) and try not to talk to her like a machine in front of her.

I wouldnt even consider School Days to be a harem: its just 1 guy being extremely indecisive between two flirtatious girls. I think it has a pretty terrible plot and is only made well known because of the rather... interesting... endings.
None of the girls wanted Raishin dead in this novel. Some of them are even willing to share... |
